Thanks a bunch for posting. I have one question. Does the free listing mean that only the insertion fee is waived? In other words, do you still have to pay the end-of-auction fee/final value fee? Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes, you still have to pay the final value fee.

Do they have a limit to how many pictures are free (using their picture service). Is just the first free as usual or can you add however many you want?

The first picture only is free. I just listed some things and still had to pay for the second picture. But it is only $.15 so it isn't too bad.

Thanks for the post! Otherwise, I wouldn't have know that the listing fee was free!

Just a reminder that eBay operates on Pacific Daylight Time. So, if you are on the East Coast, you have until 3:00 a.m. to list your items.

Also, a time-saving hint: It takes a lot of time to put those pictures into your listing. Since the auctions aren't listed by eBay until a few hours after you post them, just put the basics into your description, don't worry about the pictures, and just get them listed. Then you can go back in later to add or change what you want. If you are pressed for time tonight, this will help a lot!

Okay, I was dumb. I was going to list something when I got home last night and forgot!!! Would someone be so kind as to let us fools know when the next free listing day is?

Well, I got many things listed last night, but I've spent most of my morning editing my listings. I didn't know that Tripod doesn't allow remote hosting anymore, so none of the images that I had uploaded to Tripod showed up in my auctions!

Thank goodness I found some more free webspace. Now they are set to go. But what a pain!!

Yes, I, too would appreciate anyone letting the board know when the next free listing day is. Thanks again, shayshay!! *hugs*
