If you sign a two year contract with Sprint PCS, you can get a $140 rebate towards the purchase of a phone to accompany your Sprint PCS plan. I found a Sprint rep who even threw in a leather case, car adapter, and extra $10 to cover the price of a new Samsung 3500! What service is your old phone on? With Sprint PCS, you can return your old phone for credit towards your bill. I had a Sprint PCS account before signing up for this deal. I cancelled my existing PCS account and am going to take my old phone to a Sprint dealer. Most companies will refurbish them and resell them. But, you may have better luck with ebay!

I also have a month to month Sprint PCS plan.
but an old samsung dual band, about a yr and a half old...
any idea how much the trade in was worth?
Personall i am not happy with sprint but for a newer free phone it may be worth it, then again, in 2 years this will be a very obsolete phone.

I had an old Qualcomm dual band phone. Sprint is giving me $50 for it. It is definately bottom of the line, so I would think that you would get at least $50.

To tell you the truth, I wasn't happy with Sprint for a long time either. About a year and a half actually. But just in the last 6 months or so, it seems like they have really expanded their network. I was up on the beach in Maine and still got a digital signal!
