Question

What do you all think about this:

We create ONE post for "thissamplesite.com"
Another for "thatsamplesite.com"
and everyone can post within that one topic?

When the topic gets too large, one of the moderators can close it and begin a new one for that site?

There are SOOOOOOOO many samples, samples and more samples (and I'm not knocking samples by any means) being posted that they knock the other deals off the board... If we did something like this it might help minimize that from happening.

Just curious what you think? Trying to think of ways to help improve our forum.

Another thought would be to have a forum specifically aimed at samples only but I'm sure some people wouldn't like that as it would be too much "jumping around."

Yes, I know this is a Suggestion/Idea and that there is a forum for that... but as one of the moderators and it relating to this particular forum, I thought we might get more input here.

Well, what do you think?

Thumbs up

I think it sounds wonderful. It is like a race to see who can post what the sample sites have first. Great idea!!

It would be OK, but as we know at startsampling by the time you scroll through 20 posts the samples are gone! And sometimes there gone and then back again in 15 minutes. Personally, I like to be able to tell from the subject of the post if I am interested in that particular sample or freebie (I guess thats why I'm not in favor of multiple freebies in one post).

I like the idea for a separate forum for sample sites. There have gotten to be so many of them that I think the Freebie forum would be a little cleaner if they were a separate forum altogether.

(That's my long-winded way of agreeing with gingerblue )

I agree with Bradedit and Gingerblue both... separate forum for samples, separate post for each type of sample.

Cool

I think a separate forum regarding the sample sites is a good idea in case people are looking for freebies and aren't signed up on those sites (What's wrong with those people then....but anyway....)

In that forum to have a separate post for each sample at each site that can be bumped up whenever available is the best idea.

I think an individual forum specifically for sample sites is a good idea also. It would really clean the freebies section up.

I agree it will keep the other offers from getting lost in the shuffle on the main page.

You have my vote for separating samples into another forum. Hey, it's not going to alter the availability of a sample.

Thank you Jsalba!! For finally bringing this up and out into the open. I am all for some kind of improvement in this subject area and would have said something sooner but there are enough gripes on this board already. All the moderators are doing a wonderful job of minimizing that! Keep up the good work Mods!!
