Try hypnotherapy. It's not to pricey at all. Screw patches and gum, they are too pricey.

I know someone who had it done, and it got rid of her cravings and she quit cigs.
After 5 years, she put a cig back in her mouth since she decided she was "cured," and that was all it took... after that she could not quit again. She gave up.

So your daughter can never put a cig in her mouth again after the session... Or all cravings could come back. So just be warned. But if she doesn't have the cravings than she should be able to make better decisions.

Just to let you know the Nicoderm ones do NOT have any nicotine in them It is just the patch to show you how it feels
The gum one is a good one and you can get friends to send for some for you too.

Also be aware if you are in the US there are programs now and medical insurance even medical assistance will cover patches if you get a doctor to write a prescription for it. Contact your local health department too they most all have a free patch program.
