I love this site! I finally found something worthy of posting on here for people who like to procrastinate...like me!

I just filied my taxes (so last minute!) and I used this tax program that I read about in the OC Register and it worked great! It was pretty easy to use, and since I live in California, my federal and state tax returns were completed and e-filed for free! I wanted to share the information I received with anyone else who is waiting till the last minute to file! Best of luck and don't for get the IRS tax deadline is April 15th.


If you meet the following income qualifications, you can file your Federal Tax Return Free. If you live in California, Montana, New York or Michigan you can also file your State Tax Returns free of charge.

Here are the IRS income requirements:

*$37,783 ($39,783 married filing jointly) with two or more qualifying children;
*$33,241 ($35,241 married filing jointly) with one qualifying child;
*$12,590 ($14,590 married filing jointly) with no qualifying children.

It is very easy to use and has a video guide. All you do is answer simple yes or no questions and fill in information that is unique to you.

You can go through the software program and find out how much money you will get from the IRS before you submit the return.

If you file your taxes, you can also qualify to receive an Economic Stimulus Payment.

This year, the IRS will provide an additional
Economic Stimulus Payment! Receive up to:
* $600 for a single person
* $1,200 for a married couple filing a joint return
* $300 for each qualifying child under 17 years
