Okay here's a question: What do you do with all the free stuff? I mean, I'm only signing up for things I can use because I don't need extra crap sitting around my house. I am also signing up for pet food stuff that I'll donate to the animal shelter, but still. What do you do with all the stuff?

Well I only sign up for stuff that I know will be of use to someone I know. I give a lot of stuff away to my son and daughter-in-law and I also give things to my mother. I sign up for cat freebies for my neighbor and kiddie freebies for my grandson. Razors and such for my DH, and shampoo, body wash, toothpaste and stuff for myself and also for friends and family that can use a freebie. I know that some of the other people sign up for things to donate to charities or to schools. There are lots of good ways to use up the things you receive. I know my friends and family are always happy to get a care package and it makes me feel good too!

I request freebies I can use or can give to people I know use.

Also, I am a member on another freebie board where we do a
Sample Train swap each month.
Everyone who wants to participate signs up by a certain date
Then the moderator starts the Sample Train box with x number
of items in it.
It is mailed to the 1st person on the list.
How ever many items you take out of the box you must put in
the same number of items from your freebie stash then send it
on to the next person on the list until it gets back to the mod.
You gotta pay postage on the box, but fun to do.

I donate some of the freebies to shelters, and to thrift stores whose profits go 100% to shelters, and like the others give some to friends family and neighbors who can use them, and of course what I myslef can use as well.

Where did you get the Barilla pasta coupons from? Are they still available??? That is AWESOME!!!

No, freebmama, unfortunately that offer is no longer available. About a month ago, a wonderful deal-seeker found on the barilla site that you could answer some survey questions & that was the reward after you finished! I couldn't quite believe it myself!! I know what brand of pasta & sauce DH & I will be eating for the next year! LOL

I thought it was too good to be true but I received the coupons this week and it makes me SO EXCITED! lol. Would that be considered a year's supply? One meal a month? Just curious.

I've had a real disapointing month, freebie wise. For some reason this month seems unusually slow.

I've hardly gotten anything at all this month!

True I'm not on as often but..I do still try to catch some in the mornings and later in the afternoon or night. Also on the weekends!

I didn't think I was missing too much...The boards do seem awful empty. Perhaps the postage hike is to blame?
