Please don't take advantage of this offer just to get a free pen, only do it if you really want to support the organization and help them spread awareness about the disease. These agencies that are trying to help those who are ill and suffering, cannot afford to send tremendous amounts of these out, abuse will cut into the money necessary to keep their projects going and help the sufferers.

Good point there... I didnt actually order it myself, cuz I wasnt sure I would then take time spreading the word!!

But isn't Cystic Fibrosis a very uncommon genetic disorder?
I thought it was nearly eliminated by now? Oh well, can't hurt I ordered one.

CF is not uncommon there are thousands of people who have it...

I know several people with CF, if you have never seen onyone suffer with this count your blessings. It is truly heartbreaking. Thanks for the post, this is a great org. that I have supported for years. They really do provide a lot of support and help.

Yes, definitely NOT something that we have almost eliminated, there is no cure, yet. There are many people who suffer from this tragic disease, I went to college with a young man who had it, an awful disease.

Having any illness is discouraging, I dont have CF but I have Fibro w/CFS and regardless of what you have pain is pain . The object is to to get the word out about health and make more people aware and how you can take just a small amount of their time to make a big differnce in ours.

hi all,
i want to thank the person who posted about not taking advantage of this offer!!!

my oldest step daughter out of six children died of cf at the age of 18....she would be 26 now....and it is a genetic disease...both parents have to have the specific gene to pass on to their kids....if the same two ppl keep haven kids there is a very high chance that all there children will have it.....

please help spread the word....as i remeber one of her meds was over 2000 a month and she was on 4-6 daily meds if she was healthy.....

please help support this cause!!!
