No you didn't miss it. Check back at about noon pacific time. Should be up and ready by then. If not, keep checking. It will show up! These promos that are advertised to start on specific days usually start around noon, either pacific time or eastern time, depending on the coast the ad agency is on. Be patient! It's coming!

At 12:15pm central time I got in and registered for for the tide laundry and downy samples~it did take a while for it to load must be a lot of traffic on the site,

It's 4:08 pm eastern, and I just got mine. You can request a sample of Tide AND Downy in one of 2 scents Rose or Vanilla.

4:24 PM I clicked the link for a free sample and was taken to a page that said nothing but "true."

That was it. LOL!

And at 4:28 PM I realised that using firefox as a browser was the problem. Must be in Internet Explorer for this to work.

I'm using IE and when I click on "get a free sample" from the Tide site all I'm getting is the "true" page, but when I went in through the Downy site, everything worked fine and you can select both samples from there!

Both sites worked for me. These soaps smell great. Can't wait to get the sample in the mail!
