Re: Tyson Chicken Sample

I missed this one when they offered it. But I thought they would send you a coupon for a free one. Not send it to you in the mail.

Re: Tyson Chicken Sample

Wow,
Who'd think they'd just send it through the mail like that? I wonder if they know that most mail carriers, locally, aren't refrigerated!!!!!!! Ack! Nevermind that it sits in your mailbox! I also missed this one, thank goodness.....

Thumbs up Re: Tyson Chicken Sample

This product is perfectly safe!! It does not require refrigeration. Tuna comes packed the same way and is on the grocery store shelf. It only requires refrigeration after opening. I 'think' it is irradiated, then vacuum packed, so there are no bacteria in it.
I got mine today and put it in my pantry. Great freebie.

Re: Tyson Chicken Sample

Received mine today. I don't (either) believe these need refrigeration. Just like the 'pouches' of tuna you can get in the grocery store on the shelf. Ever wonder how long this kind of stuff sits on a (hot enclosed) truck while traveling to your local supermarket? I don't think a few days in the mail truck does it any harm at all.

Re: Tyson Chicken Sample

YEs, everyone here is correct, though I haven't received anything from them yet, and I did sign up. But you do not have to refrigerate these things.

Re: Tyson Chicken Sample

I did a search on Tyson. There is too much negativity about that company when I was a TOTAL follower (buyer) of them till then. I go 'Amish' (brand name) chicken now.
If the samples are treated they should say so and I think legally in some states. If not probably salted as canned 'C' rations if not dehydrated.
I can think of better things than food in the mail when no one has printed proof of the contants so far. To each his own but food is like NEW shoes vs used. This scares me but not surprises after my search.

Re: Tyson Chicken Sample

I ate mine with some fetuccinne two days ago and I'm not dead yet... but I have an uncontrollable urge to scratch around in the dirt and my skin has an unusual "glow". Just kidding about that last part.

Go ahead, it'll be fine... and it was right tasty!
