Wow, Who'd think they'd just send it through the mail like that? I wonder if they know that most mail carriers, locally, aren't refrigerated!!!!!!! Ack! Nevermind that it sits in your mailbox! I also missed this one, thank goodness..... Kat

This product is perfectly safe!! It does not require refrigeration. Tuna comes packed the same way and is on the grocery store shelf. It only requires refrigeration after opening. I 'think' it is irradiated, then vacuum packed, so there are no bacteria in it. I got mine today and put it in my pantry. Great freebie. |

Received mine today. I don't (either) believe these need refrigeration. Just like the 'pouches' of tuna you can get in the grocery store on the shelf. Ever wonder how long this kind of stuff sits on a (hot enclosed) truck while traveling to your local supermarket? I don't think a few days in the mail truck does it any harm at all.

I ate mine with some fetuccinne two days ago and I'm not dead yet... but I have an uncontrollable urge to scratch around in the dirt and my skin has an unusual "glow". Just kidding about that last part. Go ahead, it'll be fine... and it was right tasty! |
