But in the Found A Freebie Forum it's for non-survey items, and non-postage, basically just fill out your name and address, and you'll get a free sample. A short survey, meaning like with some of the Walmart freebies, that asks you about the product are acceptable - the others aren't.

If they ask only for a reasonable amount of information they will be allowed to stay on the boards, but if they get into all the personal information, theyw ill have to be removed. Most members just aren't comfortable with that type of thing.

The allstate offer followed through with the book about kids from birth to 5. Other than that, insurance freebies are nonsensical.

Exactly my point, and I have instructed our moderators to use discretion, when an offer is a genuine offer and it doesn't ask for too much personal information, then they can let the post remain and only remove the annoying ones.
