| Re: Free Army National Guard T-shirt We should not try and recive FREE ITEMS from our millitary, any branch. If you wanna t-shirt get one from the store, our millitary has to pay for these things, and us tax payers. It is intended for the recruting of people actually wanting to join the services....don't take advantage of that ,it's just not right. ![]() |

| Re: Free Army National Guard T-shirt That's a fairly valid point--recruiting soldiers for the Guard takes time and money. Here in rural Minnesota, we have a strong, long standing tradition of service in the Guard (Go Red Bulls!) and it hasn't been a problem getting people to enlist, but resources are stretched pretty thin some places. OTOH, wearing the shirt around would advertise the Guard.... I didn't sign up for this one, and members can use their own judgement about their own course of action. |
