I thought Cymbalta was just for depression. My neuroligist just put me on it for peripheral neurology. He said it will also help with my migraines. He is taking me off all other pain relievers (Aleve, Tylenol Migraine, Ibuprophen, etc.) and is giving me Frova until the Cymbalta kicks in...about a week or so.

I didn't realize that continued use of a medicine could have reverse effects. He said my migraines are growing in strength because the over-the-counter meds I take are losing their effectiveness as my body grows used to them. Son of a gun! Same problem I had with neurontin!

Cymbalta is doing better than Neurontin for the Peripheral Neuropathy.

Some of my problems have been traced to a couple of lumbar disk that have caved in on each other and are pinching a nerve. That is causing some of my hip and leg pain, but the doc still doesn't think it is causing the PN in my feet.

At least we are making progress!
