tracfone activation (why am I NOT surprised)

it generated a number, but didn't reflect any minutes the 10 starter or the ones I bought at Walmart. Now I have to call the bastards, maybe I shouldn't quit my job tommorow after all, I can make job calls and have tracfone on another line till they pick up. Yeah, thats what I'll do. Shuffle a few papers, alt tab if they walk by. Don't quit a job, if you don't have another lined up!

A LONG time ago when I had a tracfone I bought a card from wal-mart and when I got home to activate it I find out that it had already been used! 8o It appeared that someone who worked at wal-mart in the electronics dept was 'stealing' the activation codes and therefore when someone bought them they found out they were bad. Needless to say hubby took it back and told the manager what we were told by tracfone and they replaced it.

From that point on we just bought minutes online direct from tracfone. Luckily now I don't have that. We both have a regular cell phone through suncom. :)

The codes cannot be stolen now because they aren't activated until run through the Walmart cash register.
