| Im truly pissed off at WalMart - maybe not so much the company, but the dumb people working for them. I had acquired 20 Reese's Fast Break, 7 skittles, 2 twix and 1 baby ruth for a total of 30 candy coupons. I have redeemed twice at a local regular WalMart near my house twice and the cashiers there didnt ask me any questions about the coupons. Tonight, I went to a different WalMart and waited nearly 30 minutes for them to piddle paddle over the coupons - whether theyre fraudulent or not. Im like, please - I'll show you how to use the coupons, but the cashier was like, no I have to ask someone and she was flashing the daggum light at her counter for help. Apparently, she didnt want to get chewed out by her boss for accepting photocopies of coupons. But my coupons are genuine and they can check that by looking at the time it was printed. Finally, "accounting" approved the use of the coupons and Im tired as **** from standing there and helping me mom all day. WalMart is friggin big as heck and it should have some decency as to provide their employees how to process coupons without being scared as a daggum chicken. If the coupons can be scanned, then they are okay and go head with the green light and process the damn thing. Sick of WalMart for wasting my time ( keeping me from doing my sweeps - like I have all week, hmmph ;)). I just wondered if anybody experienced this craziness, but I aint never going back there to redeem my coupons as I have found my haven at my local WalMart.

| My local Wal-Mart almost always hassles me over coupons. I get so mad at them! I've handed them free coupons before and they've asked me "What's this?" I almost told them "What the **** do you think it is?", but I manage to restrain myself. They usually get their way, even when I know I'm right. I've taken to writing down all the names of the people I'm having the problems with, the number of the line I'm in, and the time. I make sure they see I'm writing it down. This usually makes them look scared, it used to make them give in, but not much anymore. Sometimes I actually do contact Wal-Mart about what ever the hassle was, but not always. The latest problem I've had was the packaging on my contact cleaner had changed and they coupon showed the old packaging. They tried to tell me it wasn't the same thing, even though you could clearly see it was just a package change. Same info on the packaging pictured on the coupon as on the new packaging. I tried to tell them the coupons said $1.50 off on that product , not on that product with that packaging, but they just didn't seem to understand. Took me five minutes to convince them it was the same thing. I left the store FUMMING!!!!! It's funny how when I go to the Wal-Mart where I go to school (about an hour away) I very very rarely have problems with using coupons. However, I do have problems with everything else in that store. Seems like I just can't win.

| No kidding...Walmart is truly terrible when accepting coupons. As a "frequent buyer" of my kitty's food, I can mail in proofs and get a coupon for a free bag of his food. When I tried to use this coupon at Walmart (it even had my name on it and an 800# for questions and wasn NOT a computer form, but more like a check, with a watermark, etc.), Wallyworld refused to accept it 'cuz it wasn't printed on "shiny paper"!! The customer service manager even threatened to take it and rip it up 'cuz they "confiscate fraudulent coupons" and didn't I know that trying to use these was "a felony", just like "printing money"???!!! HUH???? They really need to get on the ball with this!! |

They'll use any excuse not to take coupons. I went last night and totally expected to have a big problem since I had about 40 coupons to use. No problem at all! BIG surprise. Maybe I should try shopping at the same time next week and try to get the same cashier. She was really nice and wasn't bothered at all with my coupons.

| I usually have problems with my coupons at my local K-mart. They seem to go stupid when you hand it to them they freak out like I just handed them a bomb to disassemble or something. Wal_mart is usaully good about coupons but I do shop late at nite and know which checkers to use and not use. Something that did happen at Walmart one night was I had 6 Country Bob's coupons, the checker was new so the night manager had to show her how to use them. Afterwards the manager ask me how I got them and I told her offline she was like cool, then she whispered to the checker, "Like I can't hear", to put the coupons aside cause she is gonna use them too. I couldn't believe her. I didn't say anything but I just wanted to get out of there, I know that that couldn't be legal to double use coupons. I don't know why stores give us such hard time over coupons cause the companies are gonna reimburse them. I quit printing out my coupons , except for the Sally Beauty ones , cause I got tired of the hassle, now if I have a choice I aske for mine to be mailed to me.

| I had big problems with Wal-Mart thinking I had photo copied my coupons, so I emailed their corporate office and told them that this was not acceptable! I told them manufacturers are offering coupons that can be printed from the internet. And that we expect to shop at Wal-Mart and use our valid manufacturers coupons whether we printed them from the internet or clipped them from magazines or newspapers. And to advise me about their policy regarding these coupons, and to please make sure ALL of the stores are accepting valid manufacturers coupons when they should. I forgot about it until the store manager called from my town two days later! Someone from corporate had read my email and contacted them regarding this. He apologized and said they will accept them and that they would bring this issue up at the next store meeting so all the cashiers are aware of it. I haven't been back to use any yet, but I hope I don't have any further problems. I was just frustrated that not one cashier could tell me their companys policy. Geeeezzzz...all I wanted was a candy bar :D |

| Re: SuperWalmart - Hmmmmmmmmph! I've had the same problem with coupons cut out of the paper, and the clerks have no clue! At K-Mart, I had Alpo Buy 3 Get One Free coupons, and the girl did not even know how to ring it up. It took her TWENTY tries and finally sent me to customer service. People do not understand basic math. Alpo 50 cents a can....what is so difficult about ringing up a coupon whose value should be 50 cents? Harris-Teeter will not take ANY internet coupons. They even have a sign posted at each register. I have contested this and had the manager take them for me. I said look you know me and see me all the time, you know I am not going to rip you off. Lots of the internet coupons will not scan the bar code though...even printed on my costly printer. Oh and those Fast Break coupons, I had over 100 of em. The Fast Breaks on the shelf had a short expire date on em, so I talked to customer service and the next time the candy vendor was there, they got me 2 cases of fresh candy and called for me to come pick it up. Manufactures usually pay 7 or 8 cents per coupon for handling. Heck the stores can pay me that and I would go handle, organize and process all their coupons for that! I hate Wal-Mart and Target! Sometimes ya gotta go though :-( I like BJ's Wholesale Club cuz you can use coupons there whereas at Sam's (Wal-Mart big bro) you cannot use coupons. Speaking of Wal-Mart, do you go to their website every week or so and request the free samples? http://walmart.triaddigital.com/Free-Samples.aspx?fromPageCatId=11
