| Any annoying neighbor stories to make my day? I am annoyed with mine and am so sick of it I don't even want to get into it. AND if I did, it would take a week to get it all out. I'll just say that the issues THEY bring up are petty or none of their business. Noone is getting hurt. No property is being hurt. It's all about attitudes...and it's so ridiculous. Don't people realize that life is short? I DO have some great neighbors too...:) Any funny, annoying stories would put my annoyance into perspective.:)

| Oh yes! We have this neighbor in our neighboorhood (about 13 houses totoal) that is the biggest busy-body EVER! She's called the cops on at least half of us for something. We got a letter from her in our mailbox about our barking dogs, AND she called the cops. The cop that came out said he had to come out because it's his job, but he's tired of coming to our neighborhood for petty things. LOL. Our dogs rarely bark, and when they do there's a good reason. If you drive by during the day you can see her sitting in her front window. She watches what everyone is doing. She even drives around the neighborhood to check up on everyone. Some people have even moved because of her! I told my DH that our next house is going to be in the middle of 40 acres. No neighbors! |

| One of the benifits to living out in the middle of nowhere! The closest neighbor I have is my Mom and Daddy who live about a football field length away from us. :D Sorry y'all have such problems. I guess it is a blessing to live the way we do! :D

| We have learned to love them, we just are really different from one another but they are a sweet couple in there 80's so they are entitled to be they way they are. At the least they are not cranky or nasty(the don't even mind my sons loud music)

| Let's say we will NOT miss the neighbors we just moved away from! One of them was named Rosie and she was such a crab. She would carry on about anything and everything. She came out one day and found a cat sitting on her grill! She had a total fit, started screaming at me and threatening to sue me. It wasn't even my cat! She also carried on because they walked in her driveway. She would actually go out and rake her gravel so it would lay just so and have a fit if the cats might have moved any of it. One day our dog went out and was over there wanting to play with her dog and she had a fit about our dog bothering hers. This woman was a total trip. If we had a few bags of garbage outside waiting for pick up day she would call the township and carry on. Needless to say the last time she started on me before we moved, I told her off. Then we had the guy the land belonged to who is named Jim. He would watch and keep track of everything. If my husband missed a day of work or came home late one night he always knew and had to come ask me about it. He also thought I should be able to control our other neighbors septic usage so it wouldn't flood the tank we shared with them. When they moved out and left a mess he came to me and flipped on me about it like I had something to do with it. When they owed him money, he carried on to me about it. We hate living in town, but I have to say that at least here most of the neighbors keep to themselves. Thank goodness. I will not miss those two! And of course lets not forget the friends who lived next door and could never get it through their heads that we like to be alone once in awhile. We don't like company every single day. They also always wanted to borrow groceries, she makes $11 and hour and he makes $8, we are on foodstamps and they always wanted to get food from us! Thankfully they moved to the opposite end of the county from us! |

| We have one freaky lady in the next building over. She lives on the 2nd floor. Any time of the day or night she is sitting there staring out the window watching what you are doing. My neighbor & I grocery shop together at night so it is pretty freaky when you see this person just staring at you. I cant even open my bedroom blinds for fear that she'll be looking into my bedroom... |

| OMG some of you live next to some nuts! I don't have annoying neighbors. I live in a small apartment complex and the only thing that sometimes bugs me is when visitors park in our parking space. ftmom: LOL that's creepy but funny. If I see someone (not a necessarily a neighbor) staring at me, I'll stare right back! |

We live in apartment #9 which is CLEARLY marked with a big white 9 and there are spaces marked "visitors" but visitors seem to always park in the numbered spots. 8\ |

| Our spaces aren't marked, but there are signs that say "PARKING FOR RESIDENTS ONLY violators will be towed.." We also live near a business, and the workers USED to park in our space. One day I called and complained and threatened to tow. They never did it again. MUAHHAAAAAAAAAA If we have visitors, we have them park behind our vehicles so as to not take up someone else's space. I think that's inconsiderate when the other residents don't ask the same of their guests. |

| What about a whole village? we live in a very small town.everyone here is either blood related or related by marriage. They all are a bunch of busy bodies. Most of them do not even speak to us.If you were not born here, they want nothing to do with you. They get away with things such as not getting building permits etc. When we put on our deck they all drove by to see if we had ours posted. If you were not born around here they consider you an outsider no matter how long you live in this **it town.We have been here about 5 years and 3/4 of them still do not speak to us.we are good people, and have done alot to improve the house and property;which was in dire need when we bought the place. A middle aged couple moved to this town because they fell in love with the mountains. And the people of this town say they are either on the run or defrauding the goverment because neither of them work.He retired early from a good job .It is a pretty and quiet place to live, but if we knew how the people here are;we probably would have reconsidered. | Our neighbor likes to mow his lawn sometimes up to 3 times a week. He also mows into our lawn on an angle and leaves a strip from his yard to our mailbox. It's to the point that we just laugh about it now. ;)

| Thank goodness our neighbors we have now are GREAT....but a few years ago we lived in an apartment building, we had a parking garage on the ground floor and above it were 2nd story apartment balconies, well, there was this little old lady who would sit out on the balcony at all times of the day in a T-shirt and underwear, nothing else! Out in the open, and of course right above our parking garage, so everytime we went somewhere we saw her, uggghhh. Dh called her Grandma Panties, LOL. :) |

My crazy neighbors are cows that get through the fence and tramp my flowerbeds. While I sort of appreciate the free fertilizer, I could do without the munch marks. And, if they could, well, you know, spread the fertilizer a little more evenly...lol. I have to wait for it to dry, break it up, and spread it around. It's a little unsightly until I can get to it...hahahaha. But the crazy neighbors never complain...except when i try to make them go back home..LMAO.

How about every freaking day, sometimes as late as 9pm. He lawn looks like a carpet granted, enough grass seed for 5 homes. LOL But i guess it is better than the neighbor who...yes i swear it...mows his lawn 4 times a year. LOL Or the neighbors who called the police on my son because he called their son a dork. The poor cop didn't know what to say. LOL One neighbor goes around dumping his trash in others cans late at night, because he doesn't want to pay for pick up. Another neighbor sent his children to my house for lunch because they were having an open house and didn't want to mess up his kitchen, we had just moved here, and although their kids played with mine, i didn't know the people that well. I sent his kids right back. And our new neighbors....yes i am blessed AGAIN. Their children stand at the fence and watch us like monkeys in a cage when we sit outside. Honest to god they just stand there and stare...LOL They have moved from the city to the "burbs". Guess they are curious how we live. LOL Our other neighbors although i like them very much, belong to a motorcycle club, and once a week they have a meeting and about 11 o'clock at night you hear about 10-15 Harley's fire up. Sounds bad, but they are really decent people. Just very loud, scare the heck out of my dogs. It is a Christian motorcycle club. LOL I can go on and on and on and on. I grew up on a lot of land, i don't know what is worse, fighting the skunks, woodchucks, possums, snakes, wild cats or people. But for the most part i love my neighborhood, you have to take the good with the bad. They all have good qualities hiding in them somewhere...sometimes it is just hard to find. LOL |
