Big grin Kimba!!!

I loved that show!!! It was always followed by Speed Racer. I never missed either one! I had forgotten about them. Also there was a cereal called King Vitamin, anyone remember that one?(King Vitamin have breakfast with the king....) still remember the jingle that went with it! LOL. How come I can remember all this stuff from 30 years ago and I can't remember what I made for dinner yesterday?

I had fun reading your posts and I don't remember hardly any of those things except Tab and cereals! I lived a sheltered childhood I guess.:) Anyway, the romper stompers were at my daughters preschool only 5 short yrs ago so they must still be available or at least something like them.

For Kimba Fans

I just found videotapes of the Kimba cartoon at Amazon.com! Might have to get a few for some flashbacks to childhood!

This is not something to eat or anything but i miss the commercial with the old lady saying
"Wheres the Beef"

ok king vitamin cereal is out i see it at meijers and bought it before.

The other thing is you know they have thoes crackers you can get individually in a vending maching with a cheese stuff in the middle or you can buy them at the store in a box with alot of 6 crakers in them well 4 almost 5 years ago when i was preg at work had in the vending machine some crackers made by doritos and they were the cool ranch kind i instantly grew attached to them and when my preg was over and i went back to work after leave they did not have them nor did the store carry them and i have been wanting id settle for 1 of them thats how much i loved them. I can find the dorritos reg and hot crackers but not cool ranch

I remember the strawberry shortcake cereal now that u mentioned it

I miss garbage pail kids collecting cards

I don't think they make this any more, if they do I haven't seen it in years. It was this plastic glue type stuff in a tube. You would attach this little plastic straw looking thing to the tube and blow a bubble. It looked like a bubble gum bubble, but you could play with it as a ball for a while. I don't think I described it very well. Does any body have a clue what I'm talking about? :) [/B][/QUOTE]

I have seen it advertised on television. I will have to pay more attention next time and get the phone # for you.

I can't believe a couple of you actually know what "BuckWheats" cereal was...nobody around here except for my family remembers it..must not have been the fun kids cereal, but I really rthought it was pretty sweet. Oh I loved that stuff..as soon as I got old enough to buy it myself and eat it when ever I wanted (lunch, dinner..lol)..I couldn't find it. I'm sure it was gone long before then, but I'm probably in denial also..lol! Thanks for the memories:)

Post Gone But Not Forgotten

How about Vibrance hair conditioner. It was in a bright orange container and left your hair incredibly soft.

Lightbulb Song of the South??? (Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear)

I think after re-releasing all the Disney Classic movies, they should re-release "Song of the South." I don't know why that one has never come out on video!!!! I'm guessing it is because African-Americans think it is not very flattering. I don't really know so please no-one take offense!!!!! I just remember really liking the songs in it and would love to see it again!! I remember it came back out in the theaters when "American Tail" was released. My friends and I saw them at a double feature. Us 20 year-olds and a bunch of kids!! I never did see it out on video tho. Anyone know for sure???

Rolling eyes

Oh wow! Talk about going down memory lane. I remember most of the things you guys have been posting. Showing my age here, but even before the Body on Tap, I remember a shampoo I grew up on called Earth Born; it came in different scents.

QVC carries a Shrinky Dinks activity set and the Amazing Elastic Plastic Glow in the Dark Set ( supposedly a better version of the old plastic balloons).

Do they still make Pop Rocks?
Has anyone ever heard of Chum Gum bubble gum? I remember getting it as a child in the late '50s.
Also, I haven't looked for it recently, but I remember getting boxed rock candy a lot as a kid. Is that still around?
