| About 40 years ago my Grandfather used to get us yes-yes cookies. They was round with gooie carmel and I can't remember what else but I loved them And sky bars...they had different filling in little chocolate squares ...Oh, I loved them too! And I loved the time my Mother, Father, Sister and 2 Brothers would go to church together every Sunday , then go to my Grandmothers for dinner. On Saterdays we all went fishing together at the lake and had picnics. And I still do love zingers, we have them here too. [Edited by buckeyemomma on 02-19-2001 at 05:34 PM] |

| I've been looking forever for a cologne called "Mexican Musk". My husband had a bottle from ages ago and I LOVED it on him. I remember seeing an ad about 5 years ago in a magazine when I was in beauty school, and when I went back to get the ad I couldn't find the magazine. It had a little plastic worm wearing a sombraro in the bottle. LOL Also something called Rawleighs salve? My mom used to use this on everything from cuts to slivers. Worked great. I don't see it around any more. I see Zingers in our vending machine here at work now and then, and I've seen that plastic bubble stuff at the grocery store in their little trinket/toy section. |

| Raleigh's Ointment - YES! I DO remember that! My dad always used it. Strong stuff! Came in a blue and white tin. And yes, I remember Jade East cologne. My dad used that, too. :) I think Coca-Cola still makes Tab. I don't think you can get it just anywhere, though. I've seen it recently (I think), but don't remember where. The same goes for Fresca. They still make it, but it's not readily available in all areas.

| Mmmm, can't find Taco Doritos here anymore. used to eat a thing called Pillsbury Space Sticks that I liked. And locally we used to be able to get soft boysenberry cones instead of just the usual choc. or vanilla. Man, they were good. I know they still have chiclets and fruit stripes gum around, just so hard for me to find. OH-- my favorite thing was a sweet and sour sucker, who made those? Charms I think. Havent been able to find one in a while. I remember taking a quarter to the store and getting a candy bar and an ice cream bar! Oh, and I sure would like to get the service that I used to get-- you know, the customer is right! Boy, would that be nice.

| They still make the plastic glue that blows up with the straw. Just bought some for birthday party grab bags since I loved it as a kid. Found them at a Dollar Tree store in CA. I also miss Flicks along with the Marathon bar. |
