| Re: Spelling and Grammar check program... I didn't include any grammar checkers because as my colleague stated in a question posted at Google Answers: "Although there have been many attempts at this, no software exists which can edit grammar in an acceptable manner. Often the efforts to do this will result in text that is worse after it has been edited than it was in its raw form." and: "I have not found an online grammar checker other than Grammar Station.(It seems to have a good reputation, given its high position in the following category of the Google Directory." www.grammarstation.com. I hope this helps.

No. There’s no need to replace the spelling checker and grammar checker in your word processor. Although using these programs may pick up one or two mistakes, they do not make you a better writer. Besides, we all know how annoying grammar checkers are to use. StyleWriter, uses a sophisticated and comprehensive database to match patterns in your writing style. Because it does not parse the sentence, the program is quick, working through about a page of text a second and displaying and analyzing all style and possible usage problems throughout the document. This also means there are few, if any, false errors highlighted. StyleWriter especially impressed me in flagging only a handful of false errors that are so common with grammar checkers. Its advice was intelligent, and it came across as a practical and effective aid to good clear writing." PC Plus Magazine (I think the price is about $150.00)

| Re: Spelling and Grammar check program... Ooopsss... we're playing posting tag! lol I have one more spellchecker I'm going to evaluate one more time... just for you! I tested it a while back and if I recall it did have a grammar check. It was free for 1 month, and it wasn't really pricey. I'll be back in a few minutes with my results.
