This is a good deal, but why is Amazon so high on shipping? I placed an order, and all the codes worked! Yippee!! BUT, the shipping charge is $32.12. I ordered a car seat, the roller shade and one other small item. That just seems like way too much. Am I wrong?

tmva: One thing I've found with Amazon and their shipping is that they tend to parcel out their orders. What I mean by this is that they ship one thing from one place on Monday, two things from another on Tuesday and something else from a third place on Thursday! Since they charge you separate shipping for each location/day your items are shipped from, it adds up really fast!! The reason they don't just ship from one location at one time is because they don't have everything in their own warehouse...they get it from other places too. So check when the items are shipping and from where....that's probably what's making your shipping costs so high. (That, and the fact that a carseat may very well be considered an oversize item and not eligible for free shipping). Good luck to you!

A carseat is probably expensive to ship because it's heavier and bigger.
