When I signed up I was told that I would get a quality of life monitor(?) but nothing about the pen....cross my fingers that I'll get it.

The Quality of Life Monitor is (I believe) a checklist or a booklet to keep track of your RA symptoms.

I have received this one. The pen is actually a very nice pen. It comes with an information pack that also was very imformative.
I actually do suffer from RA so it was a huge help for me. The checklist is a way to keep track of what symptoms you have each day so when you go to the doctors it is easy to show them what bothered you each day that past week or month etc.
