Lightbulb Suggestion: make filling out forms easier!

I know this should maybe be put in the "internet/computer section but I think that maybe a lot of people don't go there to look around...and maybe they might really like to have this little program.....so, moderator's I am taking a chance of putting it here for the benifit of those that might miss it otherwise. What do you think? Is it ok to put it here so everyone can see it and benifit from the convience of having this program??:apple:

Ok, here goes.......

I have been using a free little program makes filling out those forms for signing up for the freebies a snap!

Re: Suggestion: make filling out forms easier!

You know, I was unimpressed with the old version they had several years ago, but I have not tried it since they have updated it, I think I am going to check it out and see if it is better now and if I like it.

Like lectric, if I really like it, I will buy that advanced version later.

Re: Suggestion: make filling out forms easier!

I purchased the advanced version years ago because I belong to so many make $$ reading e-mail and survey programs (just received a check for $20 for "My Survey" today) so I needed something to help me with all those pass words and such. I even got a discount because I am a veteran of the US Army!

This little program saves me tons to typing which is great!

Re: Suggestion: make filling out forms easier!

Yes, I can see what you mean. I downloaded it and set it up yesterday, I am already in love with it.

I was doing one of the DOD newsleters, I wanted to do one on all free samples, it is already posted in the articles section here for those that want to check it out, but I won't list any free samples that I have not signed up for and verify that they are still valid offers. This usually takes me a couple hours to hunt up unique freebies, sign up for them, then put in the links and info, but I saved a lot of time using Robo. Much less typing.

Re: Suggestion: make filling out forms easier!

Glad you like it....I honestly could not do everything I do on the internet with out this little program. I am on disability and mostly at home so the computer is my window to the world. Signing up for freebies, doing surveys and such is one way I suppliment my income. So this little program is a real winner for me!! It would take hours and hours to do what I do online without it!!

I hope more people try it as it really makes filling out all the forms we do a lot easier!

Re: Suggestion: make filling out forms easier!

Carol, I am in the same boat as you, actually. Well the main difference is that SSI has turned me down 5 times now, in spite of what all the docs and specialists I have been to said.

Anyway, these online jobs, and my freebie, coupon hunting does supplement our income tons, we are living on my husband's SSDI while he is in college.

I used to walk everywhere, to stores, the library, just everywhere, I would even carry home stacks of books, bags of groceries and etc. But I can't do it anymore. If I am going to be walking around for more than a few minutes and on my feet, I have to use my cane and I am not even going to get into the list of prescriptions I have to have filled every month, and then of course carry with me whenever I go somewhere.

I have to say I am so very, very happy you made this post and let me know about this new version of RoboForm. I downloaded it the other day and I have been using it constantly, ever since. I love it, sometimes, due to my spinal problems, my arms and hands go numb and/or quit working, and it makes it very hard to type stuff out all the time. Now, with three little clicks I am done filling in a form, it makes it even easier than the windows form fill did.

There were days here that I had to miss out on some freebie offers, because I couldn't type the forms in, so I would just have to go and hope they would still be available later, when my hands and arms started working again.

Now, if I can just push the mouse and bump the button to click, I don't have to miss them. Just awesome! Thanks.

Re: Suggestion: make filling out forms easier!

verwon,

You are most welcome! I try to help others when I can by passing on what I have discovered that make life easier for those such as you and I that are living with limitations in what we can do. So when I discovered this site I thought I would share about roboform as it has been so nice for me!!

It is aggravating cause at 52 years old I don't feel like I should be having to slow down like I have had to but none-the-less that is my reality these days. I have been told that it is just something I have to live with as there is no cure or even treatment other than treating the symptoms of my medical problems. Being as I am stubborn I refuse to let my limitations slow me down any more than I just have to. lol

I am going to be getting a little scooter this weekend I found on "craigslist.org" that I can use to go to the grocery store, bank and library. It looks a lot like a bicycle but is powered by a little battery. My grandkids have been teasing me that grandma's don't ride motorcycles! lol Plus, I want to volunteer at my granddaughters kindergarten class this school year so the scooter is going to be nice! I have to use a cane on the bad days when my legs don't want to be reliable so, the scooter will save me some falls! Plus, be a lot faster than I can walk...some days lately when I walk the two miles to the bank or store I am soo pooped I have to lay down for a nap! lol

Re: Suggestion: make filling out forms easier!

I can totally understand that. Some days, just getting a shower or making dinner totally wears me out.

I don't need the scooter though, I have a Chauffeur, his name is Andy, he married me back in 1994 and he drives. LOL!
