Wave 1 is the most restrictive - getting you off sugars and white starches. Wave 2 has more foods and loss is at a slower pace. Wave 3 is for maintenance.
I am very impressed with the fresh flavors and really don't get hungry between meals. Portion sizes are considerably smaller than we're used to, but we're still satisfied. So far, so good.
For exercise, I've been doing a combination of Yoga Booty Ballet (without the Yoga and no floor ab work because that hurts my neck too much) ... Turbo Jam (wow - strenuous but fun) ... and Leslie Sansone and Denise Austin walking dvds (I'm up to three miles and will try five soon).
So, yes, basically ... after all the stupid diets and pills I've tried ... it really does come down to sensible, healthy eating and exercise. Go figure. |
