My lips get really dry in the colder months. I have to constantly wear lip balm, but it only lasts so long.

Funny that you started this thread. My lips were so chapped over the weekend and I tried everything I could think of. Before I went to bed last night I put petroleum jelly all over my lips and then went to sleep. This morning--all better. Always works for me.

I use Burts Bees chap stick and it works wonders.
You can also mix a little salt or sugar in with the petroleum jelly to make it more effective.
