What color/theme is your kitchen?

Well, inquiring minds wanna know. and Just for fun, tell us any other themes you might have going on in your home.

Lets see, I have birdhouses in my kitchen, with tons of fake ivy on the tops of my cupbards. Two stained glass pictures, a couple tea cups.

My living room is kid oriented, but cozy I think. I have a quilt I made hanging on the wall, kind of forest green and cream. A Thomas KinKade tapestry with woven dried roses above it. A rocking chair and a glider, both in green. big book shelf. A wall full of pictures of my darling kids.

My whole house is painted eggshell white, then I decorate with different colors. I have my collection of chickens in the kitchen, about 30 of them. I have neutral colored carpeting throughout the house. My bathroom towels right now are forrest green, but I'm thinking of changing them....maybe a peach this time. My bedrooms are decorated with blues.

My kitchen is country angels. The bathroom is cream and gold colored and has some angels in there....but not too many, as well as candles and flowers on some shelves. Our bedroom has hunter green lace curtains and a flower pattern comforter set with the darker greens and mauves. The living room is earth tones. The family room is a little bit of everything since that is where we stay most of the time......there is 2 computers in there...lol!!;) Lots of toys, bookcases, and furniture galore!! ;) My son's room is celestial......just got a new comforter set with stars and moons on it.....he has the glow in the dark moon and starts on his wall and ceiling. Daughter's room has pink curtains and a matching comforter set with lace and flowers.

My entire house is done in blue and white with a hint of rose. In the kitchen all of the appliances are white the tile is blue and white with a hint of rose. My candles in there are rose and purple. The dishes are blue too.

The living room has blue carpet the couch is a mixture of blue, beige, rose, and dark purple. My computer is in the living room too. My birds cage is an ivy green color.

The master bedroom has blue carpet, blue tile in the bathroom and the bed has blue sheets and blankets.

The guest bedroom has (you guessed it) blue carpet, blue walls and the bed is done in blue.

The guest bathroom has the same tile as the kitchen and it is done in blue and white.

Blue is my favorite color and they say blue is a calming relaxing color. Blue is supposed to be an appetite suppresant too. Thats why you don't see blue in restaurants or in the grocery store they always use red (which can not be found anywhere in my house)

oh yeah....the outside of my house is blue and white ;)

LOL My kitchen is the exact same colors as yours Cujo. But ....not the rest of the house. Dining room is forest green with white accents and hardwood floors. Living room is forest green and rose and beige. Sunroom/Family room where we spend most of our time flows off the kitchen and is mainly light blue. Our upstairs bedrooms have very little theme or color to them, but the bonus room is dominated by a pool table with red felt. Our third floor has a room we have almost finished (after 10 years here) which is mainly black and white- wallpaper, tiles, carpet.

Here's a pic of my kitchen, turned out a bit dark tho. Cherry cabinets, black and white granite counter, white appliances, with green accent colors. You can see a few of my string holders on the wall.

The girls bathroom is an ocean theme, my bedroom is an antique type of theme.

When we bought our new house 8 months ago. And the whole house was white. After living in different apartments for the past 7 years and not being able to paint or put up wall paper I had to get rid of all the white. My kitchen is done in a apple theme (burgandy and forest green).

My bed room is in a moon and star theme. The room is split in to two different rooms half is a sitting room and the other half has the bed. The half with the bed is a warm goldy yellow and the sitting room in a cool dark blue with gold stars haging down from the celing.

My oldest daughter's room (she's 5) is butterflies with flowers and trees painted on the walls. With a big sun in the corner and clouds on the celing.

My other daughter (she's 3) loves pink so she has pink and white strips on the bottom half of her walls. The rest of the walls are a very soft pink the two parts of the wall are separeted by a border of little girls clothing hanging on hangers.

The girls bathroom is a pail yellow with duckies.

The living room, hall, and dining room are all an almond color.

We have two rooms still not done but, after that tax return I will get right to them.

I'm STILL working on this new/old house of mine.8\
Never had a Victorian house and my stuff was very modern/contemporary sooooooo I'm trying to add a more Victorian flavour to my decor. In the meantime I'm still patching, caulking, painting and blah blah blah.

BTW- I love seeing how others decorate. Don't tell anyone but when we go for rides and it's dark and you can just happen to get a glimpse in somebodys house and see how they decorate-I look.:o
