*Girls*
Stacia-greek-one who shall rise again
Jannah-hebrew-flourishing
Alyssa-greek-logical
Angelica-latin-angelic
Destiny
Patrizia-latin-of nobility
Brianna-celtic-strong
Makaila
Isabella-spanish-consecrated to God
Lillian-latin-lily
Victoria-latin-victory
Alexandria-greek-helper and defender of
mankind
Ariel-hebrew-lioness of God
Caitlin-irish-pure
Gabriella-hebrew-God is my strength
Oriel-latin-golden, angel of destiny
Sirena-greek-siren

my great grandmothers names were
Philomena-greek-lover of the moon
Genevieve-french-white wave *my first pick actually and a good nickname is Evey

now for the
*boys*
Benjamin-hebrew-son of the right hand
Caleb-faithful, bold
Lucas-latin-bringer of light
Kenneth-gaelic-handsom
Tyler-old english
Ethan-hebrew-strong, firm
my husband also like Ian, haven't looke dup the meaning to that yet though

I think the meaning of a name is just as important. I think it's fun to see if kids grow up and take on their meaning without ever knowing what it was

gosh stacey....early planning??? lol those are all great i never really did that (pick names out before i had my children) only because i really never thought i would have any) honestly....i hated kids (i know i regret saying that now) but i used to waitress and i tell you....lordy when families came in and the children were so OUT OF CONTROL....oh my....i couldnt stand it...and i always said that i never wanted to have any just because of that reason (i know bad bad reason) i eventually learned that its all in how YOU raise your child (and those parents just didnt know how) i now have two that are the most well manered, sweetest little boys
p.s. i really like your pick of Destiny

I also like Joana pronounced (jo-na) (ive heard it for a boy and girl

Talking

yeh it all started when I was 13, trying to help my aunt pick baby names, then I got a kick out of looking up what my friends names meant, then when I was about 17 I started picking my own that I liked, but then I got leukemia and the thought of maybe not having kids terrified me since I always have been family oriented. But then when I got married when I was 20 I started thinking about it again I'll be 24 in Jan. and I'm still not ready to have kids, healthwise or mental wise *L* but it's fun to keep a journal of the names you like and baby room ideas that you see on TV or the net. Told my husband if I could afford it I'd be starting hope chests from all these online deals! LOL

My son's name is Graham- he is named after my father. It's actually a very old name but rarely heard these days. I always get alot of positive reaction to it. There's also the "Graham Cracker" jokes but they're survivable!!

Also, a friend named her daughter Journey and her son Quest. I'm not kidding- I personally know her and she loves both names.
They've actually grown on us too, now that we've used them for a while.

wow, what awesome names everybody!

SapphireStacy: i love the name Philomena, and the meaning too

rebhun: Journey & Quest are the coolest names i've heard in a long time

i admit, i'm also obsessed with names. i once looked up the meaning of a guy's name who i had a crush on, and it was something like "sheep"! LMAO!

i've always thought Marigold was a beautiful name, especially since i read the book by L. M. Montgomery (the same author who wrote Anne of Green Gables).

oh, yeah, and Heaven Lee is the prettiest name i ever heard of for a little girl-gotta keep it in mind for the (extremely distant) future! LoL
