coupon question - non printables

I'm looking for coupons for the area I live in.
My problem is that most stores around me do not take printed coupons.
The local newspapers have few if any coupons at all.
IF they do have coupons it's usually for services (not products)... OR it's for products I don't use.
How helpful is that really??

So, what I'm looking for are ways to get coupons I can use... that don't require printing.

Ideas??

I have emailed companies of products I use and like with compliments on their products. I don't even have to ask for coupons, most of the time they send them as a thanks for the input. The coupons have been anywhere from cents off to free products.

same as the person above me, I wrote people like Frito Lays and I wrote the people who work at Nabisco and I got a ton of coupons.
