natural-organic-vegan coupons?

i am having a hard time locating any coupons that fit into my family's eating habits, which are vegan (mostly... we eat honey occasionally, but no dairy, no casein, no meat) and i try to buy organic as often as is economically possible. go figure its one of the most expensive ways to shop and eat!

anyhow, i was wondering if anyone knew of any good coupons... our weekly bill is about $200, and that is just insanity for a family of 3 (with #4 on the way) all the coupons i find are for foods loaded with refined flours, high fructose corn syrup, and meats and dairy.

is it possible to be a frugal vegan?

thanks!

Re: natural-organic-vegan coupons?

I requested coupons online from cascadian and Earthbound Farm and have already recieved them. Cascadian wrote me a letter saying I could ask for more at any time.

Re: natural-organic-vegan coupons?

I have tons! I went on a mission to get them a couple months ago and now I have more than I know what to do with. YES! You can save money and be a vegan/vegetarian/organic-only eater.

Do you have an Earth Fare or Whole Foods? In the front of the store they have magazines and Mambo Sprouts books....they have coupons in them! Also, check the isles for coupon tearpads. Kiwi Magazine has coupons every month....check out their website, too. Hit the websites of the brands you eat...you'll very often see a place for signing up for coupons and/or a "contact us" link in which you can request coupons. eBay is another great place to score vegan/natural/organic coupons. (and if you place you bid through a site like mypoints or bigcrumbs you'll save even more!).

Hope that helps you some!!

I forgot exactly where I went, but I received 10 $1 off coupons for 8th continent soymilk. I checked their website and they're offering this coupon: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Also, Turtle Mountain (dairy free ice cream) offers coupons:

Just wondering, when you write an e-mail to request coupons...what do you say? Have you all had success just bluntly asking for coupons?

Re: natural-organic-vegan coupons?

I usually start an email by introducing myself by name and if it is a product for my children, I state their names and ages, as well. I then say something brief about why their product benefits my family. I then explain that I depend on coupons to stay within my grocery budget and request coupons from them.

I just received an envelope from Clif today with coupons after emailing them.
