Re: all couponers be aware of the scam

Thanks,
Good site and probably the reason nobody in Connecticut will take printed coupons, they have to be out of the paper, not from the computer. It takes away a lot of coupons for us here, but none of the stores will take them anymore and they've said it's due to counterfeiting. A few ruin it for everyone.

Re: all couponers be aware of the scam

My grocery store (Pennsylvania) will still accept internet coupons as long as they are for less than $5

Re: all couponers be aware of the scam

my stores here won't accept them anymore. One does and only because its small owned and his wife complained when they changed the policy because she prints coupons! I'd like to hug that lady cause that store sells a lot of the baby food that I have to print coupons for. They just started allowing printed ones again a couple weeks ago though.

Re: all couponers be aware of the scam

A couple of my stores here wouldn't take them so I wrote their customer service center at the "head store". Ha thing was the stores wouldn't accept printed coupons but when I went on the store website they offered them to me. So I thought I had a pretty strong argument as to why all their stores should be taking them. They ended up seeing it my way too and called up my local store and told them to accept my coupons!

Re: all couponers be aware of the scam

The stores around here accept them as long as they will scan. I have never had a problem with them scanning.

Re: all couponers be aware of the scam

I was looking at some of these, even though alot of the expiration dates are passed, and I was wondering-Is it my imagination, or do some of these look like regular coupons, that the manufacturer may send to you in the mail for contactiong them? I printed some of these off and am going to take them to work with me to let them know, I would hate to lose using the printable coupons just because of people who take advantage.

That's terrible! I've just started shopping more often at Safeway so that's not encouraging. Wonder if it's a company-wide policy or just that store.
What coupon was it?

Re: all couponers be aware of the scam

^I emailed the corporate office to see.

It was a coupon I got online from Pepsi for a Buy-2-Pepsi-Jazz-Get-1-Free.

I think they should have tried to scan the coupon at least.
