I love sharing how much I've saved at my weekly (or bi-weekly) trips to the grocery store...here's what I saved yesterday:

Lean Cuisine entrees (6) - originally $2.59 each, on sale for 6/$10, I had a coupon for $1 off of five, plus they qualify for a store rebate of $2 off of six, making them less than $1.20 each

Steamfresh Frozen Vegetables - originalyl $1.65 each, on sale for $1 each, plus I had a coupon for $.80 off of two, making them $.60 each!

Ziploc Gallon Size bags (24 pack) - originally $2.39 each, on sale for $2 each. I used a coupon for $1 off of 2, plus they qualify for a store rebate of $1 off of two boxes, making them just $1 a box!

Ensure supplement drink - originally $1.49 each, coupon for $1.25 off, making it just $.24!

In total, I saved $23.76 by combining sales with coupons & rebates. I spent $51 on $75 worth of groceries - not my best savings, but I'll take it!

Very awesome, and thanks for sharing!!! I got lotsa deals this week! The best one...Shaws Supermarket is having a special-buy any two qualifying products and get free coupons for two bags of salad, two pkgs of hormel lunchmeat and one newmans dressing! So- I bought 1 listerine pack with coup came to $1 and then one boost with coup, paid $2.

So..in short, I paid approx $3 and rec'd:

1 - six pk Boost
1 - listerine pocket pack
2 - bags of fresh express salad
2 - pkgs of hormel lunch meat
1 - newmans own full size salad dressing!!

Well I've had my mom staying with me the past 2 weeks so my grocery bill has gone from an average $60.-$70.00 to $130.00 *tears a little*

But this week I saved $22.04 in Coupons and $58.40 with my store card.

Total Savings = $80.45

All I can say is "Thank God!!!"

I also saved $14.00 and some change in Coupons at Walmart.

I need all the help I can get! This is Rent Week!!!!

LOL! Okay, I couldn't wait to get in here and post this, I went grocery shopping Monday evening at our local grocery, they double coupons up to 99cents with no limits unless their is a limit on a product sale, such as 4 bottles of pop at the sale price or whatever. Otherwise, if I have 10 or 20 coupons for something, I can use them all if I want.

I took my son with me to help me shop since I can't push the buggy once it gets about half-way full. I hadn't been out to get groceries for awhile due to my pain issues, so I really needed to stock up on some stuff and was out of some things, we ended up filling 2 carts. I mean, I had them so full that the boy that was bagging could not figure out how I had managed to get it all in just two carts.

Anyway, I was checking out with all these groceries and my huge stack of coupons and here it turns out that there registers have a limit of 250 items, then it shuts down and won't let you do anything other than total it out. They hadn't taken all of my coupons off yet, so they had to finish totalling me out by hand. LOL!

Anyway, this wasn't my best trip, but no too bad if I might brag.

I had tons of stuff, meats, side dishes, frozen foods, cat food, drinks and etc.

Before coupons my total was: $507.24

My coupon savings came to: $163.09

So I only paid $344.75 for two carts stuffed full of groceries. This doesn't include how much I saved by buying items that they had on sale or clearance, which I match my coupons to so I save even more.

My men are very happy with the stuffed freezer and cupboards in the kitchen! LOL!

verwon - that is just awesome!! Even if you sometimes have to spend a lot, doesn't it feel SOOOO good knowing how much you saved (and that 95% of the world shops each and everyday without using coupons)?

Wow that is great Ver! I wish there was a grocery store by me that doubled or trippled coupons. I use to go to this AWFUL store just because they took all expired coupons. Haha. But they also never restocked items. Had the most gross produce. Never carried any "new" items. Also things you would buy every week would sometimes just disapear for months! And this was not a warehouse or discount type of store. It was a regular grocery store. A big chain out here. But its closing now. So now I'm shopping else where. I'm kinda going to miss the crappy little place though. The people were nice.

Sometimes its crazy trying to save a few extra dollars!

Had some sweet unexpected savings tonight at K-Mart. They have men's adidas deoderant on sale BOGO, I had two coupons, I paid 9 cents each!! And got Suave deoderant for free(priced $1, $1 off coupon ! Sweet.

Hello!! I am very excited to find this place full of savers..... I just went shopping today and made out quite well....

I shop at Publix.... and I love the B1G1 combined with coupons....


16 boxes of Toaster Strudel.... 70 cents each

2 bags Halls cough drops free.... with a $1.00 credit back to ME for free cough drops and free $2.00

2 tubes Crest for FREE with 62 cents credited to ME

10 bottle of Fructesse shampoo/sonditioner for $1.00 a bottle

20 jars of pickles for 30 cents each

TRident gum Free

20 nestle crunch bars for 15 cents each

4 boxes of Tyson boneless hot wings for 1.29 each

2 boxes Grahm Crackers for 3.59 b1g1

Oreos for 50 cents (had 2.00 coupon!)

bag of Cape Cod chips for 1.29

4 boxes Uncle Bens rice dinners for 60 cents each

Chunky soup 2 cans for 1.oo each

1 free box of Adkins protein bars

@ cans Duncan Hines frostin whipped (with extra 33%) on sale 2/3 I had 2.00 off 2



I also bought twelve cans of canned veggies, 2 gallons of spring water, three cans of pineapple and napkins, paper towels, and dog food.

Savings 132.44

I piad $52.87 I think I made out ok, they had to call the manager because ONCE again I exceeded the coupons limit on the register....
