| Help with Walgreens coupons please
Does anyone know if you can use the coupons in their rebate book (instant value coupons) together with a regular manufacturer's coupon? Or does it depend on the store? There are some that I want to use, but don't want to waste my time if I can only use one coupon or the other, but not both. You can use a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon everywhere. When they say limit of one coupon, they mean of each type. You can't use two of the same kind. I hope I was clear in putting this in words. |

Here's a caveat for Walgreens - if you use a Walgreens coupon, from either their rebate book or weekly circular, and a mfg. coupon together, they will get persnickity if the two coupons exceed the value of the item you're purchasing. In other words, if you're buying a $1.98 item with two $1.00 off coupons, they may reject them. If you throw in an item for a few pennies more, like a 25 cent candy bar or something, that'll usually work. The cashiers at RiteAid never seem to care whether or not the coupon has expired, if it isn't exactly the same product, etc. Unfortunately, Walgreens is the least lenient of all. They have more "coupon nazis" than any other store I've encountered. If you're doing the rebate items, using mfg. coupons helps to defray the cost of the tax, too. __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. You sure can use manufacturer's coupons in conjunction with 'store' coupons. I worked for Walgreens for 10 years before leaving to be a SAHM ![]() __________________ [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Most places like walgreens, eckerd, ect do take both store and manufacturer coupons, but some places do not. Publix grocery store comes out with store coupons, but the coupon states that they can not be used in conjuction with any other coupon. ![]() __________________ [Only registered and activated users can see links.
