their private selection chocolate bars (3.5 oz, found in the candy section) are on sale for .99. grab some of the "$1 off any private selection item" coupons from the winter savings book, and get yourselves a free fix! (you may have to pay tax.) for those who don't know, the winter savings booklets are the books that tell you what you save on w/ your kroger cards. they can be found at the desk (but they'll only give you one). check the checkout lanes, too, especially the u-scan lanes. and there's a display on the wall somewhere close to the store entrance. these coupons are in the center. try them on the private selction cheese, too (made by cabot for a fraction of their price). it ends up being $1.50 right now. their ice cream ($1.99 w/ coupon) is fabulous, too. THESE EXPIRE 3/30. SO STOCK UP NOW!! happy chocolate eating (i can personally vouch for the hazelnut i'm enjoying right now), paula.

Although Krogers will frustrate the heck out of me with prices ringing up wrong, this and Walmart SuperCenter is all I have close and due to just the 2 local groceries Walmart price matches 2 cents less than Krogers. I have to go with the double coupons it is a better deal in the long run. I hate them but I love double coupons. Its a shame we do not have triples anymore.
