| How do you keep organized?
My coupon envelopes are starting to get out of control, especially since my Ralphs accepts expired coupons, so I save most of them. What system do you use, and where do you buy/get something to organize coupons? __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. I know most people have an organizer like a 3 ring binder with the plastic sleeves like they use for baseball cards. I haven't attempted that because I am way too unorganized. I did buy a small organizer at the dollar store. It is accordian style and like a billfold sorta. It actually fits in my purse! I have about 8 categories and use the front section for the coupons I am using on that particular shopping trip. The second is for FREE items and then some general categories. I keep the ones I feel I will use in that small organizer. The rest I just throw in my coupon drawer and when a good sale comes up I may go through all the inserts to see if there is anything there that will work. It sounds crazy, but for me it works quite well. The coupons in the drawer are ones I really don't expect to use. One store in my area has a great sale about every 6 weeks and that's when I tear through the drawer hoping to find some coupons that will combine with the great stuff on sale. For me, if I spent the time cutting them all out it would take as much time or more? than if I just page through them once a month. I have a separate organizer for health and beauty stuff so I can take it to Target and because it is rare that I buy that stuff in the grocery store. It is the wallet style, but a different color. ![]() __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. I bought a plastic box that is used for 4x6 index cards. Then I got the dividers that are made to fit in the box and labeled them, in alphabetical order, with types of items that the coupons were for (e.g., meats, frozen convenience, canned foods, etc). It's worked pretty well for me. __________________ [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] [Only registered and activated users can see links.
