Cub Foods and Rainbow accept expireds!(for your convenience)

The following is what grabbed my attention! I have never used an expired coupon at these stores, but there have been MANY times in the checkout line that I was disappointed to see a coupon had expired that I really could've used!

How can some stores, such as Cub and Rainbow, accept expired coupons? Cub spokeswoman Lynne High said it's for their customers' convenience. Technically, it's not in compliance with the terms of the coupon.
