Um, this also happened to me! I didn't see any telephone number on the website for calling RiteAid rebates. I just sent them an e-mail, but maybe a call would be more effective. What number did you use? Thanks.
I hope they fix yours soon. Sorry it happened. The number to their rebate department is 1-888-213-9920. If the rep doesn't know what you're talking about and can't help you, ask to speak with Mike (a supervisor) or another manager. My call w/the uninformed rep. lasted what seemed like hours.

Hi,

The same thing happened to me, so I emailed them. Below is the email I got back... It's not showing in my account yet, but it looks like they're going to fix it...

Thank you for your rebate inquiry. We apologize for the inconvenience,
and are happy to inform you that an appeasement check for the amount
of $2.15 will be requested on your behalf as a one time courtesy to
complete the $4.29 that the item you purchased costs.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any further
questions, please contact us at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Exclamation Re: Excedrin - RiteAid / end up with two free boxes and a profit of $4.00 Plus!

I would just return it to the store and give them the receipt and keep the rebate.

Yeah, that works until Rite Aid catches you (the transaction number gets red flagged in the rebate/return system) and you get tossed from their rebate system forever for fraud.
