Survey mania!

I have been doing tons of surveys this week including the following that will pay for sure:

a Pinecone survey (not sure of $)

a Vividence "experience" ($10 Amazon GC)

a local focus group - 2hrs for $50


How is everyone else doing?

I only do Pinecone. I got two survey opportunities this week.

I'm signed up for 100+ survey companies, but in the past few weeks I've only gotten one pincone ($5) and about 40+ surveys that entered me into drawings I used to get all these paid surveys, but not recently.

Do you think there are just less surveys out right now? I know I must have signed up for 100+ different places as well and have had almost no surveys lately and none that give you actual money. I used to have the odd one from Vividence but haven't heard from them for months.

I have had a minimum of two a day for about two weeks. But I also have three kids age 7 and under. I think I must be in a "hot" category!

The best money is in the focus groups. Somehow, and I don't know how it happenend, I ended up on being recruited here in Minneapolis. I have seen suggestions on several boards to call local marketing/survey companies and have them put your name on their list. My focus group for this week will require that I eat cereal. Sounds tough! And I bet no one will have a tantrum, spill, or refuse to eat! But even if they do at least I will get paid! LOL

Another suggestion I read once talked about going to some of the survey company web sites and updating your info with them. I did see an increase in survey offerings once I did that.

I'm signed up with so many survey sites, it's hard to keep track! I agree, a lot of them have gone to drawings instead of individual rewards. So far, I haven't won any of the drawings! But, I did get signed on with a site that pays $4.00 per survey and deposits it directly into your PayPal account! (If I can remember the name or find a link, I'll be sure to post it here!)

As for focus groups, I love 'em!!! I haven't been invited to many recently, but I did get into one last year that reviewed DirectTV options and paid $50.00 (approximately 45 minutes long, so $1.00/minute!). What was really cool was the fact that they were located in a mall right around the corner from a Marshall's, and I had to get a baby shower present, so they handed me the $50.00, and that baby got herself a new wardrobe!!! Hee hee....

Anyhoo, I love surveys and focus groups.....anytime anyone wants to pay me for my opinion, heck, I'm willing to take them up on the offer!!! Enjoy!!
