HGTV's 2002 Dream Home is situated on nine acres of waterfront property overlooking the Chesapeake Bay in Sherwood, Maryland. Valued at over $1 million, this contemporary home is just minutes from the historic port town of St. Michaels, also known as "the town that fooled the British." It's hard to imagine a more private, serene area, yet this home is very convenient to several large metropolitan areas like Washington D.C. and Baltimore.

This waterfront home includes 2,800 square feet of fully furnished living space, 4,000 square feet of deck to enjoy the spectacular views of Chesapeake Bay, and a guest cottage complete with bedroom, bathroom, living area and kitchen. The center of the home is bright and spacious, with two-story ceilings rising above the dining and living rooms all the way to the roof. On one side of the home's center is the master bedroom on the main floor, with a second bedroom and bath upstairs.
