hi hope ![]() I actually dont do toooo many contests as some of the members here do ~ but I have won quite a few things 1,000.00 cash from GNW was my biggie ![]() I also have won LOTS of money from surveys that are contests..meaning where they have you fill out the survey and enter your name for a drawing .. have won anywhere from 10.00 - 100.00 and other smaller wins Good Luck !!!

Hi, i just started sweeping in sept. the biggest prize i have won was a tv at reward tv. i understand your frustration, but sweeping is a great hobby that must be done CONSISTENTLY. the best advice i have found is here. good luck to you and just stick with it/you will win... Hi: I believe it is a numbers game...meaning the more you enter the more you win. Alot of people try the hobby and don't win right away and give up. The saying the harder I work the luckier I am is really true. I have been fortunate to have alot of wins over the 15 years I've devoted to this hobby. There have been long "dry spells" where I have not won a thing. I got to the point that I was going to quit in 1999 but then I won a 17" boat and 6 months later I won a car! You never know what the next days mail will bring or when the Fedex truck will pull up to your house with a grand prize win. Give the hobby 6 months to a year of entering. Keep it fun. Good luck to you! Sue |

I've been doing this less than a year and my big win was a large fitness crosstrainer, which I sold and made $3000. I won that when I had first been starting and wasn't entering as many as I am now. I spend about one hour a day, five days a week. If you haven't read the winning tips thread you should do that!

Try doing mail-ins for sweepstakes and contests too. Seems to be huge winnings with better odds. Take a look at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or

They say it usually takes about 6 months to start seeing anything. I recently won $250 in American Express Gift Checks from a mail-in for Coca Cola. That was one of the first ones I ever did. And it totally inspired me to keep it up. I encourage you to try some mail-ins and see how you do there. It can be kind of expensive if you overdo it so limit yourself to so much in postage a month at first. SweepSheet has a newsletter that you can subscribe to and they send it to you in regular mail. If you see what you like at this site and decide to go for it and sign up for the newsletter, please tell them I sent you. I will get an extra newsletter for free. I used to do mail-ins a few years ago with another newsletter and got frustrated with it. It was hard to understand and I never saw any wins so I quit. But SweepSheet is the best newsletter out there and it comes every other week. They also have a section just for subscribers called HotFlashes. Those are sweepstakes that are ending too soon to be able to put in print. That's where the biggest number of wins come from for most subscribers. Thats where I won my Coca Cola win as well. You will love it! Good luck! If anyone signs up and needs any help on getting started, just email me. |
