Here's How To Enter Online: Beginning 7/1/2001 at 12:00:00 AM (EST)

evening telephone number and email address. Limit one entry per
person & per email address per day. In event of a dispute, entries
will be deemed to have been submitted by authorized account holder of
email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder"
means natural person who is assigned to email address by an Internet
access provider, online service provider, or other organization that
is responsible for assigning email addresses for domain associated
with submitted email address. Online entry method void to TN

Here's How To Enter VIA MAIL: Fill out an official entry form or on a
plain piece of 3" x 5" paper, sign & hand print your complete name,
address, zip code, date of birth, evening telephone number and email
address (if you have one). Mail your entry in a hand-addressed #10
envelope with first-class postage affixed, to: Maker's Mark
Distillery, Derby Weekend, 3350 Burks Springs Road, Loretto, KY
40037. Limit one entry per outer mailing envelope. No mechanically
reproduced entries permitted. Entries must be postmarked by 1/31/2002
and received by 2/7/2002.

Here's How To Enter VIA TOLL FREE PHONE: Beginning 07/01/2001 at
12:00 AM (EST) through 02/28/2002 at 11:59 PM (EST) call 1-800-662-
9722. Follow the instructions. Provide your complete name, address,
zip code, date of birth, evening telephone number and email address
(if you have one). Limit one entry per phone number per day. Toll
free entry method void to TN residents.

Random Drawing: Random drawing will be held on/about 3/8/2002 from
among all eligible entries received via mail, phone and online.
Decisions of judges are final. All prizes will be awarded and winners
will be notified by phone or mail or email at Sponsor's discretion.
Limit one prize per person/household. Odds of winning depend upon
number of eligible entries received.

Prizes and Approximate Retail Values: (1) Grand Prize: A 4-day/3-
night trip for six from May 2 - 5, 2002 to Louisville, KY to attend
the 2002 Derby. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation
from major airport nearest winner's home (or reasonable ground
transportation, if applicable), three nights hotel accommodations (3
rooms, double occupancy), six admission tickets for box seats at the
Derby on May 4, 2002, plant tour of the Maker's Mark Distillery,
attendance at Derby party as guests of the Maker's Mark President,
ground transportation to all events and $500 spending money for
winner (Approximate Retail Value - $8,000); (25) First Prizes: A Mint
Julep cup (approximate retail value $90 ea.); (50) Second Prizes: A
Maker's Mark Manhattan Kit (Approximate retail value $35 ea. Kit
includes 2 Manhattan glasses, shaker and drink recipes). Prizes
consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize,
and winners are responsible for all expenses not specifically
identified, including bu t not limited to all taxes, gratuities,
meals, tips, and incidentals.

General Rules: Open only to legal residents of the United States and
Washington DC, excluding any resident of the states of Utah or
California who are of legal drinking age or older at time of entry.
Employees of Maker's Mark Distillery, Inc. ("Sponsor") and Allied
Domecq Spirits & Wine USA, Inc., wholesalers, participating
retailers, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion
agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in
the same household of each are not eligible. Void in Utah and
California and where otherwise prohibited by law. All federal, state
and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. All
federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All materials
submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be
returned. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable
will result in disqualification and alternate winner will be
selected. The potential Grand Prize winner will be required to sign
and return Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability, and where
legally permitted, Publicity Release within 10 days of attempted
notification. Noncompliance within this time period will result in
disqualification and alternate winner will be selected. Travel
companions must be of legal drinking age and must execute Release of
Liability prior to ticketing and must possess required travel
documents (e.g. valid photo I.D.) prior to departure.

All travel must be conducted on dates specified by Sponsor. Dates of
departure and return are subject to change. No substitution or
transfer of prize permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to
substitute prize of equal or greater value in the event that offered
prize is unavailable. Entries submitted with personal Maker's Mark
stories containing materials submitted to other promotions or
previously published or subject to the proprietary rights of a third
party(s) shall be disqualified. Acceptance of prize constitutes
permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name,
likeness and/or personal story for purposes of advertising and trade
without further compensation unless prohibited by law. By accepting
prize, winner agrees to defend, indemnify and hold Sponsors, their
respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless from
and against any and all claims, damages, losses, and liability,
whether for personal injury, property damage, or death arising out of
their participation in this sweepstakes or their acceptance, use, or
misuse of any prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or
damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this
promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this
promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and
decisions of judges, which shall be final in all respects. Sponsor
not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing
of the offer, administration of sweepstakes or in announcement of the
prize. Sponsor not responsible for lost, late, mutilated or illegible
entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission,

Website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet
portion of the program is not capable of running as planned,
including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond
the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the
administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of
this sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion,
to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and
to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Caution: Any
attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Website or
undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of
criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor
reserves right to seek damages from any such contestant to fullest
extent of the law.
