THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SUBMITTED A PICTURE!
For this round, anyone may vote for a pic. You can post your votes, comments or anything you want in this same thread.
New members who want to vote have a certain rule they must follow.........
Tell all your friends and family to come to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and vote for your picture. They must have a post total of at least 3 BEFORE submitting a vote. In an effort to get them to look around the site and see why we like it here so much, new Deal Of Day members with a post total of 2 or less, must make enough posts to reach 3 BEFORE voting for a picture. One of those posts MUST be in the Introduction Forum and the other 2 can be anywhere else on the website. THIS WILL BE CHECKED! Anyone not conforming to this rule will have their vote deleted immediately. Bottom line is, your post total must be at least 3 or higher BEFORE voting for a picture.

You may NOT vote for your own picture should you choose to vote.

After the alloted voting time, votes will be tallied and the winner will be announced.

In the event of a tie, final winning picture selection will be made by The Mayor of World Village.

I put all the pics in alphabetical order this time.

Good luck everyone.....LET THE VOTING BEGIN!!!

Bradedit

What you can't see in this picture on my wedding day was my shoes, which were regulation Flight Boots(they had been dyed Ivory). I had been dared to where them by my DH!!!!(they were killing my feet and they were laughing at me limping around)

Kim, you wanted a picture of me!!LOL(and yes I was about 3 sheets to the wind)

Brieke

My friend and I love dressing up for Halloween but, years ago,we didn't have alot of money to spend on costumes. We decided to get creative and design our own.It took us several hours to put our costume together. When we were done, our hubbies took one look and said they refused to be seen in public with us! We went dancing looking like this...we called ourselves "bag ladies from Venus" (those are 30 gallon garbage bags we're wearing) haha

I'm not sure I'd have the nerve to do this anymore!

Dangergirl

This was taken about a year ago when we were trying to potty train my son. Needless to say, he wanted to be like Daddy in every way...

Kim Everett-Martin

LOL ok, this picture always makes me laugh, no matter how many times I look at it. This was back in probably 1986 or so - that's my sweet husband Pete, the midget on the left and his monstrous buddies on the right!!! They were all about 20 at the time, and although Pete is only about 5'6' and they are all at least 6'2", he still doesn't look THAT SMALL standing next to them!!! The angle just makes him look sooooo tiny - he'd also just had his shoulder operated on, so he looks really skinny! Oh man, this just cracks me up! It looks like he's saying "um, guys, can I hang out with you, please?" or something, like a little kid!

ps - the guy on the far right was my prom date

Sing it loud, sing it proud
This is Madison, my three-year-old. She had begged Daddy for a "tuitar" all week, and finally got it. Unfortunately, it was WAY bigger than she could manage...but she didn't care. Here she is playing her rendition of "Jingle Bells". I guess you could say she "feels the music"

Ok.....Puggy (Codey) would always BEG to ride the lawn mower w/ Daddy and honestly he never really minded the extra weight since it always ended the same way each time...within the first few sweeps around the front yard I always went out, camera in hand, to "retrieve" our little fella after his hard day of yard work
Those were the days

Patsyk

This is a picture of my "cat" (my husband denies she is a cat). She had to get shaved because my groomer quit and she got too matted. So, here she is after her shave. She was not happy. Rest assured she is now a big fluffy powder puff again!

Teah

This is my daughter about 6 years ago
after an exhausting day of wrecking her room, playing dress up, removing sheets from her bed to build a fort around her bunkbed I noticed it suddenly got very quiet so I went to check on her. I opened the fort she made around the bunkbed to find her laying there with her purse, shoes, sunglasses and fully dressed in the clothes she chose to wear *after trying on 500 different things LOL* Fast asleep

The story:

This is Mark, my DH, dressed up as a character ("Cookie" - the wagon train cook) for children's church. If you knew Mark, Mr. Reserved, it would be even funnier.

Ttulipss

My sister-in-law, her boyfriend, my neice, nephew came to California for the kids' soccer tournaments. They had no games Sunday afternoon so my mom planned for us to all get together for a park picnic. We had a great time and the kids had so much fun! Our girls, then 2-1/2 and 14 months, were asleep the minute we got on the road for our 1/2 hour drive home. We pulled in the garage and they were still asleep. We figured they would wake when we got them in the house so we did not bother putting them in bed....we just laid them down on the floor in the family room. What's really funny is not only did either of them wake up, but they both took the same position and slept another hour and a half that way!

Anybody can vote....all DOD members new and old...you don't have to be a finalist to vote.
Ok...go ahead..you can vote...vote right here in this same thread...don't be shy...I see you all looking but nobody is voting...lol
Just another note to those who are finalists....you don't have to vote if you don't want to. Since you can't vote for your own pic, a vote for someone else would be like voting against yourself...lol But thats your perogative, do what you want..lol Good Luck!

Ok, I'll be the first. They were all great, but the one that made me chuckle the most was Kim Everett-Martin's. He looked so left out in that pic!
