I left the wireless information blank and was still able to sign up. I've been able to do email surveys with no problem. Usually, they show you a movie trailer and then ask you to rate it. You will need a Pay Pal account, however. That is how they pay you. |

seems like I've done several of those movie preview sureys for them, all more than a few months ago -- but I know I've never received anything in payment from them - has anyone else gotten paid by them? sunspun |

I've never received anything from them either. Now I seem to be getting spam emails from them for dubious "freebies". No further surveys...just the same old rehashed stuff that has been on these boards forever. Hmmmmm....

I got paid once not too long ago - $4 through PayPal. But I have another problem with them now. They keep sending me surveys, and when I go to do them, it says I don't qualify. EVERY TIME. It says that either the survey is full, my Media Player isn't the latest version (not true), or my browser isn't the latest version (also not true). I e-mailed them about it, but have gotten no answer.

Hmmm, I have not had any problems with them so far, but I haven't been a member for that long. I did get paid (throygh Pay Pal) for taking one survey and I just took another one a few days ago, so I'll see if I get paid for this one. I know that in their rules, it says they will not pay you if you take a survey that you did NOT receive an invitation for. I also know that their sit can be difficult. My sister has had all kinds of problems with them and she has a super fast connection. All I can say is keep trying and hope for the best. |

We have done 4 surveys since April and been paid for all of them. I believe I was only invited to one of them. I think even if you are invited, if your profile group (age/sex) are full when you try to log in, you are out of luck. I am not signed up for the points, because when I last checked, they had no rewards for the points (kinda like startsampling!)

| Re: Question about GoZing
adam34, you are responding to a post from 5 years ago. LOL! As to paypal, no, you do not have to give them your checking account numbers or any financial information to use them. You can use the free account to receive small payments from someone online and then use the money are various places online, without putting in any of that information. It just won't show your account as verified and it means you can't transfer money in or out of the account, and you can't use more than what is in your account because you don't have a backup funding source. We had a problem with a bank that we had bounced a check at years ago who reported to Cheques System, which is a kind of banking credit report, that we never made good on the check, but we had and I spent several years having to fight them to get our names off of there so we could get another checking account, however, in the meantime, even though I still had no account to link to my paypal, I was able to use them anyway. I just couldn't transfer money in or out and I had to use anything I was paid in there to shop online. (They give you a virtual mastercard number that you can use to order anywhere online that takes mastercard!) Now, as to your personal information at Paypal, it is perfectly safe. They are totally secure and do not share your info with anyone, you must log in and institute any transactions and etc. It is also great because the free accounts are totally fee free, so you can use them to shop online or pay for ebay auctions and add an extra layer of security to protect yourself. For instance, when you purchase an item online at a site that you are not familiar with and you found a great deal, but aren't sure about giving them your credit card info, instead, you can use your paypal account's virtual mastercard. So that company in question never gets your real banking info or cc number, so even if they try to pull a fast one, they can never touch more than what you have in your paypal account. Paypal will also go to bat for you in case of fraudulent transactions and stuff to get your money back, with 0$ liability on your part, and when you make a purchase, such as paying for an Ebay auction or even buying something from someone here selling something on the sell or trade board, they offer additional protection options for just an additional small percent of the amount of the transaction. So instead of sending someone a check, which hands them your account numbers, or using your CC on a site that might not be safe, you use your paypal account and have virtually no worries. It is even safer and easier to use than a money order, as when you send those to someone, you have no immediate proof that they received it if they tried to say the didn't and though you can have it tracked, it can take months for the company you bought it from to track down that specific money order and find out if the person indeed cashed it, or it was stolen, or lost in the mail. When you pay with paypal, you have immediate notice that they money was sent to that person, it will also show when they claimed the funds and the transaction was completed. To shop online, the accounts usage is totally free, if you have a business of some sort and use it professionally, then you are only charged a percentage of the money someone sends to you. There are also no fees to send money out to your bank account, or to shop online and use your credit card or bank account as back up funding in case your order is more than what is already on deposit in your paypal account. Transferring money in from your bank is also free. They only charge $1 if you don't set up a bank account in your account and just want them to send you a check for the money you have accumulated in there. You can also get a Paypal debit Mastercard that you can use, offline, anywhere that accepts debit cards or mastercards. No fees unless you use it at an ATM for cash. Since finally getting things straightened out a several years ago, so we could open a checking account to have our money direct deposited, I added our bank account, check card, and credit card information immediately, and have never had a single problem. Very few people have and you will find that Paypal generally gets rave reviews. So I really think that before you make rash decisions and assumptions, you should look into it a little more. Like I said, it is safer than mailing a check, MO, or even using your CC online. |

Oh, this info is also coming from someone who has been a paypal member since way back when they first launched their site and you got $5 free for joining and $5 per referral, so I have been using them for quite a long time.
