Rules synopsis

How to Enter: The “Food Network Challenge Sweepstakes at Indy 500®” (the “Sweep”) begins at 12:01 AM (Eastern Time [“ET”]) on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on Monday, May 1, 2006 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Two Ways to Enter: 1) Online Entry: Visit the Sweepstakes microsite at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] (the “Web Site”), fill in the electronic entry form, and submit it in accordance with the on-screen directions during the Sweepstakes Period, you will then be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. Limit of one (1) online Entry per person per day; or 2) Mail Entry: On a postcard, legibly hand-print your name, address, zip code, age, and day and evening phone numbers (including area code). Mail your postcard to: “Food Network Challenge Sweepstakes at Indy 500®”, P.O. BOX 2001, Framingham, MA 01703-2001. Limit: One entry per day per person by mail. Online Entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on May 1, 2006. Mail Entries must be postmarked by May 1, 2006 and received by May 8, 2006. Any mass-produced entries or entries generated by a script, macro, or use of automated devices will be disqualified. The Website's clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes. Television Food Network G.P. (“Food Network”) (“Sponsor”), and/or COHEN-FRIEDBERG ASSOCIATES, LLC (“Sweepstakes Administrator”) will NOT verify receipt of entries. Neither Sponsor nor Administrator is responsible for entries that are late, lost, damaged, stolen, mutilated, misdirected, postage due or any combination thereof. Altered, illegible, or incomplete entries are void. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Eligibility: To enter the Sweepstakes you must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and a lawful permanent resident of the 50 United States including the District of Columbia. Void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law.

Drawing and Notification: Potential prize winner will be selected from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be held on or about May 10, 2006,

Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win the following: (i) Five Hundred Dollars cash ($500.00); and a trip for two (2) to attend The Indianapolis 500® Mile Race in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 28, 2006 consisting of the following: (ii) round-trip coach airfare for Grand Prize Winner and guest from gateway airport closest to Winner’s U.S. residence to Indianapolis, IN.; (iii) round-trip ground transportation between the hotel and the airport in Indianapolis, IN.; (iv) four (4) days/three (3) nights deluxe hotel accommodations (double occupancy, room rate and tax only); (v) dinner for two (2) in Indianapolis in a restaurant selected by Sponsor; (vi) VIP Access to a live Food Network Challenge event; (vii) two (2) tickets for admission to The Indianapolis 500 Mile Race. Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize: $2,975. The hotel accommodations do not include other meals that are not described above, incidentals, telephone calls, gratuities, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip. All costs, fees, and other expenses associated with any element of the Grand Prize not specifically addressed above are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner.
