synopsis of OFFICIAL RULES

SPONSOR: The Valpak.com® Free Grocery Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Valpak Direct Marketing Systems, Inc. ("Valpak®" or "Sponsor").


HOW TO ENTER AND PLAY: The Giveaway will begin at 12:01 a.m. (ET) on March 24, 2006 and end at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on May 5, 2006 (the "Giveaway Period"). Valpak® envelopes mailing in select markets will contain a Lucky Number printed on the outside of the envelope. Individuals who do not receive a Valpak® envelope printed with a Lucky Number may request a Lucky Number by visiting [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now], clicking on the "Free Grocery Giveaway" link, and following the instructions for generating a Lucky Number. To enter the Giveaway, go online to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now], click on the "Free Grocery Giveaway" link, and enter your Lucky Number along with your email address, zip code and date of birth where indicated. Four(4) Daily Prize winners will be randomly selected each day during the Giveaway Period. Daily Prize winners will be notified via an on-screen notice immediately after entering their Lucky Number on the Valpak.com® website and also will be sent an email confirming that they have won and providing prize award details. When the Daily Prize winners receive this email they will be asked at that time to provide their name, address and phone number to assist in the delivery of their prize. To claim prize, winners must respond to the confirmation/prize notification email within 72 hours and provide all requested information. Each Lucky Number will remain valid throughout the Giveaway Period. Only one(1) entry per email address per day is permitted. Each time you enter your Lucky Number as described above for a chance to win a Daily Prize (up to one entry per email address per day), you also will receive one entry into the Grand Prize drawing. In the event of a dispute in connection with the identity of the individual who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account associated with the entry. The authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple daily entries submitted by the same person will be disqualified.


ELIGIBILITY: Subject to the additional limitations set forth below, the Giveaway is open only to residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) who are eighteen(1 years of age or older at time of entry. The Giveaway is not open to employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, or advertising or promotional agencies, or to the immediate family members of, or to any persons domiciled with, any such employees. For purposes of the Giveaway, "immediate family members" are defined as spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents and grandchildren.


WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Four(4) Daily Prize winners will be selected and notified each day during the Giveaway Period as described in Paragraph 2, above. On or about May 10, 2006, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible Grand Prize drawing entries to select one(1) Grand Prize Winner. As described in Paragraph 3, above, you will receive one(1) entry into the Grand Prize drawing each time you enter your Lucky Number at Valpak.com® in accordance with the instructions above for a chance to win a Daily Prize (up to one entry per email address per day). The Grand Prize drawing will be conducted as follows: one(1) Grand Prize Provisional Winner will be selected at random and the Sponsor will attempt to contact the selected Grand Prize Provisional Winner by email using the email address provided with winner's entry. If the notification email is returned as undeliverable, or if the Grand Prize Provisional Winner fails to timely respond to the notification, that Grand Prize Provisional Winner will be disqualified and a substitute Grand Prize Provisional Winner will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries. The first eligible Grand Prize Provisional Winner that the Sponsor successfully contacts and who claims the Grand Prize in accordance with these Official Rules (including the prize acceptance terms set forth in Paragraph 5, below) and the instructions set forth in the prize notification will be declared the final Grand Prize Winner.


PRIZES & ODDS: The award of all prizes is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Daily Prize: Four(4) prizes of twenty dollars ($20.00) in cash will be awarded daily during the Giveaway Period. No more than one hundred and seventy-two(172) Daily Prizes will be awarded in the Giveaway. Grand Prize: One(1) Grand Prize Winner will receive one thousand five hundred dollars ($1500.00) in cash. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
