Question....

For those of you already married or not even to that point in life yet....

Do you enter online sweeps from bridal magazines and websites? Looking at the rules, they don't say you have to be engaged, getting married within x amount of time, etc.

I don't enter these, but have come across some and sometimes there are prizes I wouldn't mind winning. What's your take?

I don't usually enter contests like that.
I save them for whom they are intended.
I also don't enter contests where I or my family would not want the prize. I would NEVER enter a contest thinking I would sell the prize either.

I figure let somebody else have a shot at those.
But, that's just me.

Ditto

I only enter sweepstakes that I really want the prize... Or a family member would like/could really use it...

I agree. Don't enter just to win and sell the prize. It has to be something my family wants/could use or something I know a family member needs/wants.

Ditto what everyone else said. I only enter contests for something I or my family could use. I don't want to "take" a prize from someone who could really use it.

Same here. I always figure I might miss something in the rules that would disqualify me and I wouldn't be able to accept it if I won. Plus, I hate entering using false information like date of the wedding, etc. I also don't enter any of the baby sweepstakes and things like that that I wouldn't use.

My little man just turned 1 last week so I'm getting past the baby ones, too.....it's kind of sad! I have a couple of friends who are not done having babies so any I'm currently in and (cross my fingers) win I'd save for them, but started deleting the monthy entries for baby blankets, etc.
