THE FOLLOWING SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND SHALL ONLY BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES LAW. DO NOT ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES.

NO PURCHASE AND NO ONLINE ENTRY IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

ENTRY IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.


Eligibility: You must be a legal resident of the United States and 18 years or older at the time of entry. Void in overseas U.S. territories, possessions, commonwealths and military installations, and where prohibited by law. Employees and agents of Unilever Home and Personal Care - USA (“Sponsor”), Yahoo!, HSBC USA, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, any other prize sponsor, and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes (all of the foregoing, together with Sponsor, collectively referred to as “Sponsors and Administrators”), and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household as such individuals, are not eligible to participate or win.

Entry Periods: The Sweepstakes begins at 4:00:00 PM PT on November 21, 2002 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT on January 31, 2003 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). The Sweepstakes consists of six phases:

Phase One begins at 4:00:00 PM PT on November 21, 2002 and ends on November 24, 2002 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the "Phase One Entry Period").

Phase Two begins at 12:00:00 AM PT on November 25, 2002 and ends on December 1, 2002 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the "Phase Two Entry Period").

Phase Three begins at 12:00:00 AM PT on December 2, 2002 and ends on December 8, 2002 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the "Phase Three Entry Period").

Phase Four begins at 12:00:00 AM PT on December 9, 2002 and ends on December 15, 2002 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the "Phase Four Entry Period").

Phase Five begins at 12:00:00 AM PT on December 16, 2002 and ends on December 22, 2002 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the "Phase Five Entry Period").

Phase Six begins at 12:00:00 AM PT on December 23, 2002 and ends on January 31, 2003 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the "Phase Six Entry Period").


How To Enter: You may enter each Phase of the Sweepstakes ONCE, for a total of six entries during the Sweepstakes Period. There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes:

Online Entry: To enter online, visit [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] You may be given the opportunity to play a game of concentration, after which you will be presented with the sweepstakes entry form (you do not need to play the game to be eligible; click on the link below the game to skip the game and go directly to the entry form). On the entry form, you will be asked to provide your first and last name, address (no post office boxes), date of birth, age and email address. You may also be asked to answer optional questions; however, they need not be answered in order to be eligible for the Sweepstakes. All online entries for each Phase must be received by the closing time for that Phase, as described above.
For purposes of these Official Rules, “receipt” of an Online Entry occurs when Yahoo!’s servers record the entry information upon clicking the “Submit Entry” button. In the event of a dispute about the identity of an online entrant, each Online Entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access Provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. If the winning entry is an Online Entry, the potential winner may be required to provide Sponsors and Administrators with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.


Mail-In Entry: To enter each Phase of the Sweepstakes by mail without purchase or obligation, send a postcard on which you have hand-printed your first and last name, address, telephone number, and email address (if available) to: Suave Smart Shopper Sweepstakes, Mail-In Entries, PO Box 3757, Department V, St. Cloud, MN 56397-3757. All mail-in entries for each Phase must be postmarked by the last day of that Phase's Entry Period and received no more than seven calendar days later.
