OFFICIAL RULES FOR “PLANTERS GOOD STUFF” SWEEPSTAKES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1. Sweepstakes begins 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) November 18, 2002 and ends 11:59 PM ET January 5, 2003 ("Sweepstakes Period").

2. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Participants are not eligible to win the Grand Prize in “Planters Good Stuff” Sweepstakes if they have won a grand prize associated with another sweepstakes on the Candystand website in the 90 days preceding the commencement of this Sweepstakes.

3. To enter the Sweepstakes, go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] click on the “Planters Good Stuff” Sweepstakes icon during the Sweepstakes Period, and complete all required entry information. Submission of erroneous or incomplete information will void the submitted entry. Limit one (1) entry per person/household/e-mail address per day. If multiple entries are received from any person/household/e-mail address for any given day, all entries from such person/household/e-mail address for that day will be disqualified.

4. A random drawing from among all eligible entries will be conducted on or about January 15, 2003. Drawing will be conducted by Trymark Consulting Group, L.L.C., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

5. One (1) Grand Prize pack consists of one (1) Samsung 15” Wide LCD Panel TV with Multi-Media Inputs (model: LTM1575W) (estimated retail value $1,299.99) and one (1) Samsung Progressive Scan DVD Player (model: DVD-P421) (estimated retail value $199.99). Total estimated retail value of Grand Prize pack: $1,499.98. Winner will be responsible for all taxes (including federal, state and local taxes).

6. Employees of Kraft Foods North America, Inc., (“Sponsor”), Trymark Consulting Group, L.L.C., Skyworks Technologies, Inc., their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, retailers and suppliers (collectively, “Sponsor and Related Parties”) and the immediate families (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same households of such employees are ineligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

7. Winner may be required, in the sole discretion of the judges, to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release and, where legal, a publicity release within fourteen (14) days of issuance of those documents or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prize is not transferable or substitutable except Sponsor retains the right at its discretion to substitute a prize or any portion of the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if stated prize or portion of prize is not available. Prize must be accepted as awarded, and winner agrees that prize is being provided “as is”. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on prize (if any) are subject to the manufacturer’s terms therefore, and winner agrees to look solely to such manufacturer for any such warranty and/or guarantee. Winner will be notified by e-mail. In the event that an e-mail to the potential winner is returned as undeliverable or a response to a given e-mail is not received within seven (7) days of its issuance, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

8. By participating, entrants agree as follows: a) to abide by the Official Rules, and to the decisions of Sponsor and the judges, which shall be final in all respects; b) to the use of their name and/or likeness and/or biographical data by Sponsor and its designees, if selected as the winner, for advertising, promotional and other purposes without compensation or notification (except where prohibited by law); and c) that Sponsor and Related Parties shall have no liability and shall be held harmless for any damage, loss or injury to winner or any third party resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or the use or misuse of the prize. Sponsor and Related Parties are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone, computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise or for any damage to entrant’s or other person’s hardware or software as a result of participation. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by the judges will be disqualified. Every submission must be manually keystroked and manually entered by the individual participant and repetitive automated electronic submission of entries is specifically disallowed. Use of automated entry software or programs is prohibited. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Sweepstakes and a dispute thereafter arise regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account subscriber of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant. “Authorized account subscriber” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes or any portion thereof and/or terminate the participation of any participant (and void his/her entries) whose conduct potentially compromises the Sweepstakes.

9. The name of the Grand Prize winner and/or a copy of these Official Rules may be obtained by mailing a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to: “Planters Good Stuff” Sweepstakes -Winner/Rules (please specify which), P.O. Box 393, Pine Brook, NJ 07058 for receipt no later than March 6, 2003.
