Think you know everything there is to know about our Shocktober movies? Then test your knowledge by answering these 10 questions that we've put together. Just by answering, you'll be eligible to win one of many great prizes. The number of correct answers will not affect your chances of winning. Winners are chosen at random. Correct answers will be revealed on our site in November. Good luck!

OFFICIAL RULES

1. How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Fox Movie Channel Monthly trivia Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:01 Pacific Standard Time ("PST") on October 1, 2002 and ends at 11:59pm PST on October 31, 2002 ("Sweepstakes Period"). After 12:01 am PST, October 1, 2002, log onto [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and obtain the Sweepstakes trivia questions for October. Then watch the Fox Movie Channel to obtain the answer to the trivia questions. To enter, log on to the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] website and follow the links to the Sweepstakes. Then fill in the on-line entry form, including your answers to the October trivia questions (using the list of multiple choice answers available on-line). Everyone who answers the trivia questions will be entered into the sweepstakes. Then submit your completed on-line entry in accordance with the on-screen instructions during the Sweepstakes Period. Limit: One entry per person. Entries must be received by October 31, 2002 at 11:59pm PST. Fox Movie Channel ("Sponsor") will not verify receipt of entries. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

2. Eligibility: To enter the Sweepstakes you must be a legal resident of the United States and be 18 years of age or older. Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, the territories and possessions of the U.S. and outside of the United States, and otherwise where restricted or prohibited by law. Employees of Fox Movie Channel, Inc., its affiliated companies, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities"), and their immediate families and members of their households, are ineligible to participate in this Sweepstakes.

3. Drawing and Notification: Potential prize winners will be selected from all eligible entries who have answered the October trivia question on or about November 15, 2002 by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by phone, email and/or mail. If a potential winner cannot be reached within five (5) days from the first notification attempt, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.

4. Prizes: Ten (10) Prizes: Each prize winner will receive one (1) Fox Movie Channel illuminated pen, approximate retail value ten dollars ($10.00). Total value of all the prizes is one hundred dollars ($100.00). No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for prizes allowed except at Sponsor’s sole discretion due to prize unavailability and then only for a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one prize per person/family/household.

5. Prize Conditions: Potential Prize winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release ("Affidavit/Release"). Affidavit/Release must be returned within the time indicated on the documents. If a potential winner fails to return such documents within that time, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with the Official Rules, then the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. If prizes or prize notifications are returned as undeliverable, this will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) arising from this Sweepstakes will be the sole responsibility of each winner. Except where prohibited by law, the winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Entities to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state address on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation.

6. Sweepstakes Conditions: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Winners and entrants also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes.

7. Limitations of Liability: Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incorrectly addressed or incomplete on-line entries due to system errors or failures, or faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions and/or on-line entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, or faulty transmissions, or for any problems or technical malfunction(s) of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, or entries not received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or at a Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering the Sweepstakes or downloading any material for the Sweepstakes, or other telecommunications malfunctions which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives. Entrants who violate these Official Rules or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Sweepstakes or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Sweepstakes. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
