3.ENTRY: There are only two (2) ways to enter this Sweepstakes:
(a) By Internet: During the period commencing at 12:01:00 A.M., October 15, and ending at 11:59:59 P.M., December 16, 2002, registered Disney.com guests may enter the Sweepstakes by going directly to the Sweepstakes entry page at: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and entering their Member Name and Password and clicking on the "submit" button. Guests who are not registered must complete the Registration form located on the Sweepstakes entry page based on their age category. Sweepstakes registration will automatically register the guest with Disney.com. The membership to Disney.com is free and with no further obligation. For purposes of these Official Rules ("Rules"), all times are Pacific Time. Parents/legal guardians ("Parents") of children under the age of 13 will be sent an e-mail notifying them of their child's registration to enter this Sweepstakes. No response by the Parent to this e-mail is required for the child to register. If the Parent does not want his/her child to register, Parent may click on a link in the e-mail to cancel the child's registration and delete the child's information. Parent must click on this link and complete the steps required within forty-eight (4 hours of receiving the e-mail in order to cancel the child's registration and delete the child's information. (b) By U.S. Mail: On a 3" x 5" card handprint your full name, street address, city, state and zip code (no P.O. Boxes), home phone number and age and mail it inside a hand addressed, stamped business size (#10) envelope to: Disney Electronics Soundstakes Sweepstakes, P. O. Box 1754, Sandusky, OH 44870-1754. ("Mail Entry")

4. LIMITATIONS: Each Mail Entry must be postmarked by December 16, and received by December 23, 2002; and each Online Entry must be received by 11:59:59 P.M., December 16, 2002. Entries are limited to one per person/household/family/e-mail address, regardless of method of entry. Only one Entry will be accepted from any e-mail address. In event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Online Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered. Entries by any e-mail method other than set forth above in Subparagraph 3 (a) are void. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effecting entry online is prohibited. Open only to persons who are legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 states or D. C. ("Territory") and not employees of Sponsor or Motorola, Inc.; their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies; or the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of any of them; (individually and collectively, "Entities") nor members of their immediate families or same households. The Entities are not responsible for Entries from persons residing, or located, outside the Territory; inaccurate, forged, incomplete, stolen, lost, illegible, mutilated, tampered with, postage-due, misdirected, delayed or late Entries; inaccurate or incomplete capture online of Sweepstakes Entry information (including the Official Entry Form); lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications; failed phone, computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; garbled or jumbled transmissions; or other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, mechanical or human error or other causes; each of which potential Entries will be disqualified. Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations.


5. PRIZES: Twenty-One (21) GRAND PRIZES: Either a pair of Disney Electronics 2-way radios or a Disney Electronics cordless phone, as Sponsor shall select, (approximate retail value ("ARV"): $100) Total ARV of all prizes: $2,100. Limit one prize per person/family/household/e-mail address. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable, except to a surviving spouse residing in the same household. No substitutions allowed except, at Sponsor's sole discretion, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. All prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received.


6. PROCEDURES: Sweepstakes begins October 15, and ends December 16, 2002. On or about December 30, 2002, in a random drawing under the supervision of the Administrator, winners will be selected from all eligible Entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received.


7. WINNERS: Will be notified by U.S. Mail, by email to the Parent's e-mail address, or phone on or about January 6, 2003. All responsibilities of a minor will be assumed by Parent. Disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner will result from any of the following: (1) failure of a potential winner to respond to notification within ten (10) days of its transmission; (2) failure of a potential winner to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release within ten (10) days from the date of notification; (3) the return of any notification or prize as undeliverable; or (4) any other non-compliance with Rules. All taxes are solely the winner's responsibility. For list of winners (after December 15, 2002) and/or Rules (before November 23, 2002), send a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to: Disney Electronics Soundstakes Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 1754, Sandusky, OH 44870-1754.


8. CONDITIONS: Each entrant by entering this sweepstakes agrees that: (1) he/she will abide by and be bound by the Rules and the Administrator's decisions; (2) the Entry becomes solely the Sponsor's property and will not be returned; (3) none of the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives are responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from sweepstakes participation; the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of any prize; participation in any prize related activity; or the downloading of any sweepstakes information: (4) the prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose); (5) winner's acceptance of a prize constitutes the grant of an unconditional right to use winner's name, city and state address, voice, likeness, photograph, biographical and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law; and (6) Sponsor is not responsible for any inability of any winner to accept any prize for any reason.
