Never have I been treated so poorly by a store. There has NEVER been a time where I have gone into ANY clothing store and NOT been greeted, NOT asked if I needed help finding something, NOT asked if I needed help finding a size. Never. Until today.

In fact, not a SINGLE employee at A&F said anything to me. NOT a word.

When I asked to use the changing room, he seemed quite put out and said (with a snobby hehe) "I can get it open for you." Then the girl who opened it gave me this smirky smile and just slammed the door open and walked off.

Just awful, AWFUL service. Some nice clothes, though totally overpriced.

I'll tell you what working there does - it inflates your head BIG TIME. Believe me, just the attitudes of these people and the way they carry themsevles says, "Who do you think you are shopping in here? I work at Abercrombie, I'm way better than you are."

i RARELY shop at the mall and the ONE AND ONLY time i went in that store, same thing...they really REALLY need to train their employees better or they'll be losing a LOT of service!!

It's the same way here. They could take a lesson from their counterparts at American Eagle. The clothes are pretty much the same style, they're better made, they cost less, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. So what if it says AE on the clothes instead of A&F?

VERY true...granted i buy most of my american eagle at value city (MUCH much cheaper) the few times i have gone into american eagle at the mall they have been so nice and helpful and i agree the clothes are much better fitting and the prices even in the mall aren't so bad (but like i said i may look in the mall but i buy at value city LOL) down with abercrombie, HOORAY for american eagle!!!
