Many companies have you pay the shipping and pick the least expensive company like fedex or airborne to get kick backs and
to avoid:

prosecution by the federal or state government for FRAUD

If you receive an item in the U.S.Mail and it is not what was described you are entitled to a full refund without restocking fees.

If you use UPS they can be prosecuted by State government. And UPS does not allow restocking fees to be charged to the buyer.

So if you pay for shipping pick the right one to protect you or do not do business.

Thanks for the tip. I never knew that. I would never have thought about it either, BUT now I know to stick with the USPS or UPS.....I would hate to be stuck like that.

bidz.com is notorious for sending damaged items/defective stones with scratches/pits. Then charging you 15% to restock and the shipping of 8.95 or more. Nothing you can do to reclaim this money. Others that use fedex do the same.
