UGH! They got me...beware DS PAY

Yep....fradulent charges. 2 for 49.95 and one for 19.95. You should read their disclaimer and what they threaten to do if you don't pay. They even want you to pay an additonal 25 dollar dispute charge. They can KISS my umm GRITS. Then i did a quick little search to see if others had this problem....i found this:

What is so incredibly odd about this entire thing is i cannot remember EVER using this particular card online ever. I mean the card itself isn't even activated and was shredded long time ago. I just use it to pay off other credit cards cause this was a lower rate. And when i pay my bills, i shred the paper when i am done.

DSPAY.com or PLBILL.com, they got my CC number and illegally billed my credit card.

I had a card charged for some porn site a few years ago, long before i became an internet shopaholic so they got my number somewhere else. I called my credit card company and they credited me and no hassle.

Now i tried buying something at yahoo auction site and it was a bogus deal and this person has my card number and has tried to make numerous purchases. i have caught them and call or email my credit card company and they immediately credit my account. after the 4th illegal charge they cancelled my card and are reissuing a new one. absolutely no problem and the nicest people on the phone.

if you havent activated this card than they shouldnt have let the purchase go through so the card company is at fault in a way. dont worry, one phone call and it should be all taken care of.

Do you think they got it from an nonsecure site you shopped at? Any way to trace how they got it? I'm sorry that happened to you, that's a nightmare!

Very little fraud is actually perpetrated from snatched credit cards over the internet. Most of the time someone working with the number stole it. For example, it is safer and more secure to swipe your card at the gas pump than to let an employee(s) have access to your number. The higher number of hands the card goes through, the greater the chance it will be touched by sticky fingers.
